This place is absolutely phenomenal and has done everything it can to survive the pandemic, construction in downtown Milwaukie, and so much else. Wow. We just had our first pre-ordered dinner from Painted Lady Coffee House and were completely blown away! Turns out the owner is an amazingly talented chef and has adapted to the Covid crisis by creating outstanding dishes in addition to her normal coffee house fare (which is also excellent, by the way). I’ve been here a few times, both for coffee and for a quick breakfast. They make wonderful espresso and all their baked treats and breakfast foods are from scratch. I’ve had the biscuits and gravy, and it was perfect. I’ve also had various treats from the pastry case and they have all been fresh and tasty. It’s also very clean, which is nice to see.
