This place is absolutely phenomenal and has done everything it can to survive the pandemic, construction in downtown Milwaukie, and so much else. When they are open at their downtown Milwaukie location, you can enjoy a variety of drinks, bakery items, and other amazing food. For now, you can preorder a delivered homemade fresh meal each week, as well as any other salads, soups, bakery items, and whatever else they are selling in a given week. The chicken Mac and cheese is as good as any you will find at any gourmet restaurant. The Lasagna is incredible. My wife loves the chicken salad. And those cookies and peanut butter bars! Definitely check this place out. You will not regret supporting this absolute gem of a local establishment.

Wow. We just had our first pre-ordered dinner from Painted Lady Coffee House and were completely blown away! Turns out the owner is an amazingly talented chef and has adapted to the Covid crisis by creating outstanding dishes in addition to her normal coffee house fare (which is also excellent, by the way). It's a screaming deal for what amounts to really nice restaurant fare at home. It was all pre-cooked and only needed to be reheated following the precise instructions. It was amazingly easy and inexpensive to wind up with what might just be the best meal we had in all of 2020. We've loved the coffee and the bakes and pastries and friendly staff at Painted Lady for several years now. Check out their lunch and dinner offerings which change weekly. There's an email sign-up to get the menu and you call to pre-order. You won't regret it!

Batista's need desperate proper training. Over all consistency needs serious help. The quality varies widely. The baked good I've had have been good. The bagles were not very tasty. Also the environment can feel a bit cramped. Good for high school kids I guess.

I’ve been here a few times, both for coffee and for a quick breakfast. They make wonderful espresso and all their baked treats and breakfast foods are from scratch. I’ve had the biscuits and gravy, and it was perfect. I’ve also had various treats from the pastry case and they have all been fresh and tasty. It’s also very clean, which is nice to see.
