Years back, in Hollywood CA, I went to “Pink’s” hotdog stand as often as possible. I never thought I would find anywhere else as good. Then I found “Roakes” and Wow! Just great old-style dogs, burgers, fries, chili. Better than ever.

Listen, I’m from NY okay? I know I’m never gonna get a real Coney dog anywhere in Portland. But yo, I literally told the lady “Put everything you got in the kitchen on the dog” the first time I got their “coney” it was a chili dog with onions on it— BABE that’s not “coney style” it’s just a plain chili dog. So I tell em that, and they give me a chili dog with onions, sauerkraut, and relish. Again, babes, that’s not everything you got in the kitchen lmao I guess I could be “more specific” but how much more specific can you get than “PUT EVERYTHING ON IT” lmao
