We arrived at 7 and had our drink orders taken and filled timely. We ordered food at approximately 7:20. The owner visited repeatedly with other customers while time passed but did say our food would be delayed . All food ordered had either chicken or shrimp. At 8:45 we were told the chef " couldn't do it" and informed us they were out of pork, which I have no idea what that had to do with anything. We were also told they were busy ( there were empty tables) . They did comp our drinks but at almost 9, as we were leaving they , suggested Subway. Really????

Hazels is wonderful! The chicken piccata was so flavorful, clearly their chef is passionate about food. Had strawberry shortcake for dessert and I’ve never had strawberries that good! Server was super nice and attentive!

We had a wonderful dinner at Hazel's in early August. We shared brushetta, crispy Brussels sprouts and cider. Our two main dishes were the pork tenderloin and the chicken piccata. Everything was beautifully presented and prepared perfectly. We topped it off with a shared blueberry mousse. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend Hazel's to anyone in the area or anyone going down that direction. It's worth the drive from Portland!

Food was great. The menu was different than online, but in a good way. Drinks were great too.

This place, formerly the Crush Wine Bar, deserves more patronage. A friend and I went there on a Saturday night, and we loved it. Melissa, a veteran of many local wineries, was our hostess, and she could not have been nicer. To start with, she made me a Cosmopolitan that Carrie Bradshaw would have loved--and I did too. My friend ordered the Shrimp Skewers, while I ordered the Jambalaya Pasta with a glass of Pinot Grigio. Both were superb. My compliments to Melissa and the chef. Give Hazel's a visit!

Excellent little restaurant and bar in Monmouth! We arrived a little late in the afternoon so they were out of gumbo so we tried the cream of broccoli soup, wow! Cocktails were perfect! Give this place a try!

Recently, my partner and I visited a new restaurant in Monmouth, hoping to enjoy a pleasant dining experience. However, we were disappointed with the service we received. Upon entering, we were frantically greeted and told to sit between the kitchen and the bar. After taking our seats, menus were immediately tossed at us. Although a lady took our drink order, we were neglected for over 40 minutes as the two employees walked past us repeatedly. Even though our menus were stacked neatly to indicate our readiness to order, we had to flag the lady down to place our food order. She did not even apologize for forgetting us. The food arrived after 20 minutes, but no one came to check on us. We could pay promptly, thanks to the lady who ran our card and picked up on our hint that we wanted to leave. A nearby table also requested their check when they saw us cash out. We advise that if you do not have ample time or are not ready for a leisurely dining experience, do not visit this establishment. Additionally, we were disappointed that the restaurant did not offer wine despite there being bottles displayed and that the lady was unaware of what condiments her establishment had to offer.
