“This is a great place to have a beer. The outside is really cool. The inside is good, but not quite as cool as the outside. It is a very social place, and a good place to meet new people. The bartender was very welcoming. There are 2 or 3 food trucks. They were really good as well. This place is on our local rotation.”

“Today, 2/7/24, was our third time in the last few months ordering with Cindy Lou’s BBQ. Every single time, we have been nothing less than 100% satisfied. Their food is hot, fresh, and SO DELICIOUS. The employees/owners are friendly and helpful. They have our food ready and to us in less than 5-10 minutes every time. We have tried the sliced brisket, the mac and cheese, the cheesy potatoes, and the garlic bread. The prices, in our opinion, are very fair for BBQ, and the quality and amount you receive. I cannot rave about this place more, what an amazing addition to our very slim food options in Monmouth/Independence!”

“As someone who does not eat to live but instead I live to eat, I will say if you are a local and you haven't gone--ORDER NOW! The food was top notch! I can't imagine they have high profit margins because they are using high quality ingredients. They used King Oyster Mushrooms in their Tom Kha soup! Above expectations for sure! If you like a place with more than FAIR PRICES, HIGH QUALITY ingredients, DELICIOUS food, GOOD PORTIONS, and QUICK service--then run don't walk to order at this little local family owned joint.Also--it is not at all too spicy. The food was complex, rich in flavor, and well balanced, but not at all spicy. If you do like it spicy, they will accommodate and add some heat to your meal. But don't be put off by the fact that Thai food tends to be spicy. They keep the richness of the Thai cuisine but cater to the American spice tolerance. Needless to say--ask for it spicy if you want it that way! They will say yes and make it just right for your capsaisin preference!HIGHLY RECOMMEND. If you are a local--there is no reason why you shouldn't try this spot!”

“My husband & I decided to treat ourselves to a date at Hazel’s and we had such a great time! We ordered the Jambalaya Linguini and the Stuffed Peppers. They were both so good with savory flavors! For dessert we ordered the Creme Brûlée & Beignets. The Crème Brûlée had such a wonderful flavor and the Beignets were wonderfully fluffy with a very good sauce. The chef came out and shared about the influences of his dishes and was very kind. We were very happy that we had our date there and plan to go back!”

“Since the remodel, the dining area is quite small and feels like an afterthought to the new lounge space, BUT I'm not there for the ambiance. The cuisine is IMPECCABLE. Real true authentic. My husband is Diabetic and the owner is extremely attentive to his needs. She consults with him about what substitutions would taste good and prepares dishes just for him.They have combined the 2 menus they had and a few of the more "exotic" dishes they have removed. All our favorite delights are still there. The boiled fish, hot pots, and curried meats are amazing and always please. Even what I call the "American-ized" dishes like sweet and sour pork, pork chow mein, and pork fried rice are top notch in flavor and freshness of the ingredients.I recommend to ANYONE who will listen ❤️”

“This place is a nondescript place near the campus of Western Oregon, but the food is outstanding and the staff are very friendly and the service is fast. The portion sizes are very generous and so the value paid for the food you eat is terrific. I live in South Salem and I drive here just for the food.Parking: If you can't find a spot to park on the street, there's a little lot behind the restaurant.”

“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Monthouth/Independence area. We've enjoyed going here for years. I plan on continuing. Food is a good price, beans are very good. You can get food outside that is street taco style or inside that is traditional sit down Mexican restaurant food. Both are yummy!”

“One of my favorite take and bake places of all time. Always fresh toppings and delicious pizza made with care. Simple and quick service, usually pretty fast too for orders. Never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a pizza! Of all the take and bake places in town, this one is top notch.”
