Riding motorcycle through town on 90F degree day. Thought I’d cool off and grab lunch. Bad idea, AC wasn’t working and I ended up with a lap full of lettuce as they used shredded lettuce on my burger. Really? Employees didn’t seen very happy either, the only positive thing is they said the AC was working for them in the back of the restaurant. All grill and no chill here

Arrived 5/7/25, not busy. Ordered the $7 meal for my son, they assumed it was chicken, we corrected them, mom got a double and small shake, I just got a cheese burger. The person was not friendly and kept interrupting while we were discussing what we wanted to eat. I finally had to close our window. Got our food and ate on the way home (not Monmouth). My son started on his sundae and asked me to pull over. There was a thin, light colored hair in his ice cream. It wasn’t his since he shaved his head recently. I started to go back, yet he had been working on the family farm for the past few days snd just needed to get home and sleep. It might be a good idea if your workers secured their hair better. If we stop in Monmouth again, we will go somewhere else.

This one has always had issues. Slow to make orders, stale food. Today, waited for several minutes just to be acknowledged. Order took almost 30 minutes, and was wrong. While I was stuck waiting, another lady came in who walked out without ordering because they didn't even acknowledge she had come in.

Probably the worst experience and place in town. Really needs a huge overall. upset I paid cash because I didn't even get what I ordered 45 minutes after ordering it, pickup inside. I had to be asked what did I even order after 30 minutes. They couldn't hand me it upside down because it was already mostly melted, empty and missing all the parts to a smores.

Ordered a banana split blizzard, I have ordered this flavor at 3 other DQ's. This blizzard was terrible, if i had tried it before getting all the way to Corvallis I would have returned it. There wasn't any chocolate or pineapple in it. The worst part of the blizzard was the hard as a rock green bananas in it! I tried to call to complain and all I could get was an answering machine saying there wasn't anyone who could answer the phone. I had just been there it wasn't busy and besides there were at least 7 employees standing around. I use to live in Independence, have sisters who still live there. Needless to say I will never stop at the Monmouth DQ, ever again and I will let my sisters, nieces, nephews and friends know how bad it was!!!

Ordered online tonight. Showed up about 5 min after the order said it was ready on the app.

They hadn't started making my order yet, they took 3 orders after I showed up and made all of those before starting my order.

Say in the lobby for 30 min while they made orders. And loudly complained about people who order online and how they will make those last every time so people will order in person.

The chicken strips, if you can call them that, looked more like a mozzarella stick. $12.50 for a 4 piece basket that maybe if you put them together they might make 1 average size strip.

Prices have really skyrocketed. No chocolate ice cream, only vanilla. Nice and helpful staff. Food is just OK.
