La Uvita Feliz is a restaurant known for its delicious and flavorful dishes. The chorizo breakfast burrito, guava agua fresca, and chicken tacos are standouts, along with the quesabirria tacos, carne asada, and al pastor tacos. The handmade tortillas are warm and soft but do not fall apart, the meat is seared and seasoned well, and the salsa is full of flavor and spice. The fresh-squeezed juice and horchata, made from scratch, are highly recommended. The carne asada nachos with guacamole are also a must-try. Mario, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating, as is the rest of the staff. The restaurant offers a 10% discount on Wednesdays for students. Visitors praise the high quality of the food and service, calling it some of the best Mexican food in the Willamette Valley.
