Habaneros Mexican Food | Monmouth

I specifically chose DoorDash so I wouldn’t have to wake my sleeping infant in the backseat. When I arrived, there were no customers in the drive-thru or inside, so I pulled up to the drive-thru window (which even had a DoorDash sticker on it). I politely asked if I could pick up my order there, but was told “DoorDash inside” — repeatedly — with no willingness to make an exception, even after I explained I had a baby sleeping in the car.

On top of that, my to-go order was missing utensils and napkins.

The food was good, as always — it’s just unfortunate that better service doesn’t come with it.

Disappointed in the lack of flexibility and basic customer care.

Great Burritos at a Great price .

Not to sound like a Karen, but it is frustrating going here because the last five times they have messed up my order. It’s not a complicated order. I just ask for no cheese on the breakfast steak burrito without fail. They add cheese on it every single time. I’ve learned my lesson to not go there anymore. Which is a bummer cause the food is great

I had ordered a breakfast burrito and whoever took my order acted like it was a large inconvenience. The burrito tasted like it had been sitting for quite some time.

Usualy good food for a drive thru.
Reason for 2 stars?
Cashier at window charged my debit card $27 for ladys order that was behind me in drive thru.
then proceeds to tell me she cant void or reverse charges and ill have to call a phone number she hand wrote on a reciept. Whaat?
So i call twice next day no answer,i leave voicemail ,no return call.
Now im having to dispute with my bank and cancel debit card.
Not good.
Please train your window clerks on very important task of voiding mistakes in the cash register so this doesnt happen to someone else.
UPDATE: owner finaly got involved and funds were reimbursed which i greatly appreciate.

The food was OK. My husband did end up throwing up his adobada torta but said it was good at first. The carnitas for the tacos are ok, but after a while, it tastes kind of weird. The service was good! The staff was really nice and just easy to have a conversation with. The atmosphere was ok, the TV werent on when we ate inside (around 11:30am), and it was just a little too quite.

Good food

Ordered a chicken burrito dinner and Oregon burrito, both are very good.

Had something gross in my burrito, wasn’t to upset because I’m a understanding person how ever I find it unbelievable that they would argue with me when I wanted to return it for my money back saying “it’s still a good burrito, it’s from the cilantro”.. my burrito didn’t come with cilantro but ok. never going back again.

Food was just OK. Not super amazing bit just fine.

Stopped in 2 days ago to order food with my friend. We both ordered burritos and I got a large horchata. Our food was given to us with no issues, but they forgot my drink. I asked for my drink and the lady grabbed 2 medium entirely watered down no ice drinks off the counter from a to go order that clearly hadn’t been picked up yet. She said “You take these instead?”. I kindly said “Umm no thank you can I please just get a fresh large one” she proceeded to storm to the back and begin speaking in Spanish derogatory terms to her coworkers loudly and her entire demeanor changed after I said I wanted what I ordered in the politest way I could. I didn’t cause a fit about the things she thought I couldn’t understand her saying we just left and I prayed my food was right since clearly telling them there was an issue with anything wasn’t gonna go over well. Customer service needs work, but if it’s fresh they do make a fire horchata and pretty good food.

Harder day chorizo breakfast burrito I had absolutely no chorizo and it whatsoever super disappointed and never had this issue when it was still muchas gracias probably never going back.

Great food! Super fresh ingredients and I am pretty sure they make their own tortillas! So good!
