Lou's Kitchen Reviews
This family has made the quintessential local dining spot for Mt Angel. They do everything they can to make your dining experience special. The food is very good, the wait staff attentive, everything you expect from a restaurant. Thank you Scott and Christy & Family for all your hard work!!!!

Lou's Kitchen is a wonderful restaurant for a family dinner or a romantic date. The food is delicious, fresh, and served in generous portions. Notable dishes include the prime rib stroganoff, house salad, burgers, and sandwiches, all of which come with fries or chips. The restaurant is run by a local family, with every member contributing to cooking, managing, and serving, ensuring every guest is well taken care of. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with music and attire that create a welcoming ambiance. Guests have noted the restaurant has a farmhouse country kitchen feel, making it comfortable for everyone. The restaurant is located in the heart of town in a beautiful historic building, featuring stunning woodwork and detail throughout the space. Parking is convenient and available on the side or behind the restaurant. The menu offers a solid selection of homemade flavors, and the restaurant boasts excellent service, including the best Reuben ever. Breakfast is served only on weekends, and the Eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy have received high praise. If visiting during Oktoberfest, Lou's is a must-visit for a delicious, home-cooked meal.
