This was my first time eating here and it was delicious, proportioned, and reasonably priced. After a 2 hour drive, it was worth it. Thank you for lunch.

This family has made the quintessential local dining spot for Mt Angel. They do everything they can to make your dining experience special. The food is very good, the wait staff attentive, everything you expect from a restaurant. Thank you Scott and Christy & Family for all your hard work!!!!
Was pleasantly surprised how good it was given the small town vibe. Definitely making this a stop whenever I’m traveling down I5 and hungry. Just a side note but my wife and I are thinking about spending a night in town and taking in all the wonderful sights and restaurants around the area. Nice going Lou and thanks for a great meal.

Lou’s Kitchen has amazing food. As my wife and I ate our breakfast, we felt like it was a home cooked meal. Very comforting. Felt very satisfied and energized through the rest of the day. The sourdough was amazing. We even purchased 2 loafs for home. Definitely our go to breakfast spot.

The food was okay. Average typical breakfast, but service was horrible. Stopped by on a Sunday and expected a wait but not 20 minutes to be served water or get our order. Waited an additional hour for our breakfast. This was just two adults, not a big party. Total was 1 hr and 20 minutes before getting our food. Not only that but one of our dishes was not correct, but decided to not bring it up. Hopefully service and food time improves. Wasn’t the only one disappointed and waiting, plenty of people seemed to be waiting some time.

Went to the Monastery there and stopped in for lunch. Best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had, including my own! Will def return for more and the chips were great too!

Stopped in after a hike at Silver Falls for a light lunch, half turkey with potato salad and a slice of lemon curd cheesecake. Hit the spot! Wasn't busy at all, staff were great.
Note: no weekend brunch here. Breakfast ends at 11 sharp.

We were just driving through Mt. Angel on Easter Sunday when we Googled food and Lou's came up. We were seated immediately without reservations (they were ALL reservations.) We ordered off the breakfast menu. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The Eggs Benedict was delicious as was the biscuits and gravy. The waitress was amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
