The food was ok for what it is. We did the combo Bratwurst platter and shared. Honestly, Johnsonville makes better bratwurst than we ate at the restaurant. They took the traditional homestyle German feel and made it commercialized beyond recognition. If you are looking for a homestyle restaurant, this one is not it. The people are absolutely amazing though, which completely redeemed the experience.

I was disappointed in the menu change. It's been 6 years since I've been there but previously it was better in that you could pick a sausage from a large selection and side of sauerkraut. Now you get it in a hotdog style, sausage was bland, and basket. Servers were friendly but won't be back..

The food was exceptional, we were able to sit and eat outside and enjoy a great lunch on great day, plus they have the best ranch dressing I’ve ever had js 👍👍 if I ever get back to Silverton, I’m definitely coming here to eat

Every time I'm in Mt. Angel I shop at the Sausage Company. They have the best bratwurst! I always get a spiral. They also have a good selection of imported beer. If you are anywhere near Mt. Angel, be sure to stop by!
