My wife had asked me where I wanted to eat for Father's Day and I chose Mount Angel Sausage Company because I was craving German food and didn't want to drive to Portland (someone please open a German restaurant in Salem!). The food and beer were great, the servers were super kind and attentive, but the host(?) and the lady working in the shop were incredibly rude. When we arrived they closed the entrance after us and the host told us angrily that we were lucky they...
Food was sub par. The buns were buttered and too greasy and the stroganoff had too much sauce and not enough spaetzle.
The service was very friendly and the outside Biergarten has a great environment.

This place is largely for tourists. A palm size pretzel for 8 dollars, a grilled sausage, some onions and a large serving of fries for $20. They tasted 4 stars, but the price is 2stars. Service is 4 stars also. Locals buy frozen sausages to take home. Prices are much more reasonable.
