The hype is real my friends. Baseline is legit great breakfast. Staff is always wonderful and quick. The food however is the star here. As you would expect, get the biscuits. There is no bad gravy choice but I love the chorizo gravy. Going all in on the monster chicken fried steak ( it is so freaking good...) get a biscuit with one of the jams on it. Love the shrimp and grits! Pro tip (the bloody Mary is made with kettle one, say yes)

We were looking for someplace to grab breakfast and this place was amazing! I had a basic eggs, biscuit, butter & jam, meat plate. The food really sticks to your ribs! Next time we come up there on vacation, we'll be going there again. It was fantastic!

I had the fried chicken biscuit and it was worth the wait and every penny! I also had their ice cream which was amazing! All the staff were friendly and I enjoyed eating on the outside patio. I did not expect there to be such a hidden gem in Parkdale! I would definitely recommend anyone check it out!

Undisputed heavyweight champion of chicken fried steak. Everywhere I go if it's on the menu I try it. From the Midwest to Montana to San Diego I have had many, too many of this dish but the best by a substantial margin is the one at Baseline Biscuits. Exceptionally tender with an exceptionally crispy and flaky crust with a very delicious gravy. On top of that the potatoes were delicious and a little unusual. Cut much larger than any breakfast potatoes I've ever seen but full of flavor and fried to a crispy outside. Could have come with a little more gravy but with judicial distribution it can be enough for the meal. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the meal comes with a biscuit which is great. I will say that while the biscuit is better than average and better than any other I've had in the Gorge it failed to achieve that sky high distinctly layered flakiness that is the hallmark of a truly exceptional example. That being said it was delicious and well seasoned and I would eat one again this very second. The Marion Berry/ Habanero jelly is also delicious. Just a little touch of heat on the finish made this jam something unique and addictive. My wife had biscuits and gravy with a sausage patty which was also very good and highly recommended. I also saw a chicken sandwich coming out of the window that looked insane. I want one so bad. We sat inside but the outside seating looked very nice and several people were taking advantage of the beautiful weather. Exceptional little breakfast spot in every way. I will be back as soon as I can.

I have been to Baseline twice in the last 2 weeks. It’s about a 44 minute drive, but totally worth it. The biscuits and sausage gravy is delicious and I’ve been told by a good source, that the chicken fried steak is the best around. Very friendly and fast service.
