“I went here on the recommendation of a friend. I am still full and in awe of the food. The waiter was so personal, and the breakfast was hands down, the best chicken fried steak breakfast (with gravy) I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot) The homemade biscuit was large, delicious, and I ordered a side of extra gravy for it because their gravy was fantastic. WOW WOW WOWI’m looking forward to the next time I’m in the area. I’ll make sure I bring more of an appetite so I can order more than one meal ?”

“I am writing this review post solely about the coffee. My fiancee and I stayed at Cooper Spur Resort and were introduced to the coffee during our stay with a complementary bag to brew in our room. When I brought the coffee back out to the car, her and I both remarked at home aromatic is was. We were eager to brew it the following morning. It certainly did not disappoint. The coffee was not bitter and was so incredibly smooth. We wanted to drive down to Parkdale to get some more coffee on our way back home but due to it being New Year's Day, the shop was closed. We both placed orders for the Cooper Spur roast as it will always remind us of our wonderful stay at Cooper Spur Resort. We hope to make it to the actual shop soon, by the pictures it looks so cozy and inviting. I hope to make it out there sooner on one of my trips to Mt Hood. Try the coffee, it does not disappoint and will leave you longing for more.”

“This place gets five stars just for the location. The inside is incredibly small and can hold maybe less than 10 people uncomfortably. The prices are reasonable here and there is plenty of seating outside such a really cool and unique way to celebrate a run on the slopes.”

“Pam did an amazing job baking my wedding cake, cupcakes and pastries. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. We received so many compliments on the desserts. We did a tasting cake before the wedding and Pam made it very easy to pick up and work with her. We ate all the wedding cake so we will be coming back to her for our anniversary to get another delicious chocolate cake! So glad I decided to use her for my wedding on Mount Hood. She delivered and set up which made it sooo stress free! I would definitely recommend her”

“Awesome place tucked away in the backcountry. This has been our go to spot for date nights and family dinners.Food: The menu is not huge but the options on it are all fantastic from the burgers to the steaks, salads and appetizers. They also run dinner specials pretty often which also hit the spot. (We had the spaghetti and meatballs special tonight) yum! They use quality ingredients which make the meals amazing in addition to that, most of the food is made in house such as their home made crème brûlée. We have yet to be disappointed with any menu items. Definitely recommend!Service: Aaron is awesome! He is always attentive, gets the orders right, asks how the meals are to make sure you’re happy with the order. We’ve been there so frequently at this point he knows exactly what we want and has our drinks out before we say anything. It’s great! Aaron has also gone out of his way to help us jump start our car and find us the right tools to get it done after the restaurant had closed…. in freezing weather. The rest of the service staff have also been great, but our usual time to go there is evenings when Aaron works. The Chef has also been great and will come out and speak to guest and get feedback back as to how the meals have been so that’s also a plus having the ability to give feedback on the food.Atmosphere: It’s cabin themed and very cozy with live fire places burning, a full bar, old time photos of the mountain and history hung around to view, and tables with rustic furniture just makes for a very calm, quiet, and relaxing setting to enjoy regardless of the visit, family dinner or date night. This place is definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area. Swing by and enjoy!”

Mt. Hood Creamery 4946 Baseline Dr, Mt Hood Ice Cream Shop
4946 Baseline Dr, Mt Hood

“The perfect spot for a cold and creamy treat, Mt. Hood Creamery offers lots of unique flavors and all the usual suspects. The ice cream is locally made so that means lots of seasonal flavors that change depending on what fruit is ripe. Andes Candy is their version of chocolate chip mint and it is soooo good! So is the salted caramel. For a more Oregon experience, try the strawberry, marionberry or huckleberry. Whatever you choose, it will be delicious! They have a variety of cone choices, bowls and Sundaes. Large shaded deck out front, perfect on a summer day. Also seating inside. Located on Baseline, the street that goes through the center of the 2 block downtown part of Parkdale, you can't miss it. Right next door is Apple Valley BBQ and across the street is Solera Brewery for the perfect trifecta when in this area. Tip: the best view of Mt. Hood is behind Solera Brewery; get your cone and walk along the side of Solera to the back for the money shot.”

“The view is to die for here at this little Brewery here in the middle of the Fruit Loop at Mount Hood. They only serve pizza with 3 different types of toppings. They have live music and tons of covered seating out on the lawn with the spectacular view of Mount Hood. Sitting close to the vineyard and surrounded by sunflowers, even on the hottest of days with the breeze it's still breathtaking. There is an indoor seating area ( reservations recommended) especially on a hot day if you are sensitive to heat. They have Beer, wine and cider. Limited cider, a few wines mostly beer. They do have flights of beer. I enjoyed the House made Iced cold RootBeer. There is a fruit stand with a U pick area.”

“I would have given MHM a 5, except for one thing: their chair lift on the beginner slope--Buttercup--is the one of the worst I've ever experienced. It dumps people out over a dropping slope, which means that if you don't get out at just the right time, you're dropping several feet. You can see people constantly falling and splayed out at the end of the lift. I myself got dropped a couple of times and banged my head hard on the ice under the lift. If I hadn't had a helmet on, I'd have been concussed and probably knocked out. At one point, a more senior operator was chewing out younger fellow b/c he wasn't slowing down the lift and people were piling up. But honestly, it's the design of the lift that's the issue. The other two lifts I tried, on harder slopes, were a breeze. The fact that this is on a beginner slope is insane.”

“This one is for Dana and whichever kind-hearted chef helped her work some magic on Feb 2nd, 2019. I came in with a very strange request to buy a cup of vegetable oil so I could go back to the camper and cook dinner for my kid. Dana got it. She made it happen. Dinner was awesome. I make it a point to never eat in the lodge at a ski resort, but because of this customer service, I'll be making an exception for the 'Stube next weekend.”

“They brought back table service!! So much better now. I hated waiting in line and constantly paying for another drink or waiting in line for appetizer and then going back for drinks and then again for food. THANKS SO MUCH FOR BRINGING BACK TABLE SERVICE. Wish they would allow us to order from both menus. No fries at the bar... kinda weird. Have to walk next door and stand in another line to get fries. Would be cool if we could order from the other food at the restaurant next door without having to leave the bar. Especially if you do not have fries... and regular bar food at your bar. The Torta was amazing. Wish I could have had fries ;)”

Historic Warming Hut Rhododendron Bar • $

“Great atmosphere, great place to meet new friends and have a good relaxing break with a good selection of beer and food. I deducted a star because the girl working there provided me with one of the lowest customer service experiences I have seen. I didn't notice that a window pane was out, making for a walk-up ordering service, I was asking out loud to my friend how we ordered, we were not sure. She literally was staring at us, looking like we were inconveniencing her by wondering how to order something, never even said hello or anything. I was asked if I wanted butter on my bread and I said yes please. There was no butter in sight upon receiving my food. She had set the tray in the window sill, I wasn't sure if it was ready at all because she kept adding stuff to the tray. Then she just left the window, I didn't know if she was getting anything else (like the butter I did not get) but nope, she just walked away after the tray was completed. I had to ask if it was ready as I was confused she had turned away for such a couple minutes. She was everything shy of being verbally rude to me. One of the worst customer service experiences I have had honestly and I had been in customer facing customer service environments for a decade! A shame to see being she works at such a cool location. Sad. I still tipped, which I shouldn't have. I hope her night got better.”

“The food was pretty good. Got the kale salad with grilled chicken. For the price ($16), I thought there would be more chicken or a full sliced breast, but it was cubed and not much volume. The flavor was good, though.I also got the large french fries ($7), which were quite good. It was a little too salty for my taste, but the other seasoning was spot on.Service was quick, and employees were friendly. The bartender hooked me up with a straw for my pitcher of ice water. She's truly amazing. There were a lot of people in there, and it was very loud. No fault to the establishment, but not my particular cup of tea.Vegetarian options: Yes.Dietary restrictions: Not specified on menu. I tried to avoid gluten and dairy as best I could.Kid-friendliness: There's a couple of pinball machines and tvs with sports. There were a lot of kids yelling and having a great time.”

“Best nachos on the mountain, so huge! They have affordable prices and the view off the deck is great watching people on the rope tow park. The day time lady bartender is super friendly and efficient. Only problem is some of the food runners are shy and instead of yelling out numbers they run through the busy crowd with food looking rushed. It's a loud bar, don't be afraid to speak up.”

“Lovely spot, solid offerings. But Judy was more visibly intoxicated than any bartender I have ever seen. “Kinda sad about all the bad reviews about this place. Glad I didn’t read it before going otherwise I would have never gone. Yes we waited a few minutes to get seated but to me that’s normal from a busy popular place. Our food did take some time but it wasn’t terrible. I’m guessing people these days don’t know patience. I’ve done service and medical and I can see from both sides. Can’t please everybody these days and everybody wants everything “now”. Came on snowmageddon day and it was 0 degrees outside and weather was worsening as the day went on. It was me and my hubbys anniversary and haven’t been before. Didn’t know what to expect. We were both hungry and just came from a long drive. We had the hot chocolate snow caps, artichoke dip and beef sandwich, which were all delicious. I take ozempic for diabetes and that shot makes you full in a few bites but I managed to gobble everything up. I was very grateful for the hardworking staff and and the delicious meal with a great view. Had an amazing anniversary date with my hubby and went home. This place officially holds a place in our memories and hearts.”
