About Mt. Hood Brewing Co.

Mt. Hood Brewing Co. is a popular spot for beer enthusiasts, offering a wide range of beers, including their flagship IPA and a dry cider. The atmosphere is cozy and unique, with artistic touches throughout. The food menu presents various options, including pretzels, burgers, and gyros. The pretzels are a standout, with soft, salty goodness and a perfect combination with cheese. The burger is also a highlight, with a generous portion and perfectly cooked fries, while the plain cheeseburgers have been noted as simple but tasty and a better value compared to other dishes.

The brewery is close to Mt. Hood, providing a great outdoor space for dogs. Customers have enjoyed the seasonal Kolsch, lager, and garlic bechamel pizza, all described as top-notch. The elk burger and steelhead salmon dip have also received praise, with the salmon dip being an unexpected highlight of the meal. However, some customers found the pizza to be just “medium” at best.

While the prices may be steep, with some bills feeling unusually expensive for the food ordered, the overall experience is well worth it, and the beer selection receives high ratings. The service has been mixed, with some customers finding it friendly and noting great service at the bar, while others experienced slow service and a lack of personality.

Great atmosphere. Wonderful service. Great beer choices. Good food! Overall great place!
This place is awesome and they always have a to go menu for our dogs! Which in summer are always welcome in their outdoor area. The food creative and spectacular utilizing local plants and forest and humanly taken care off animals -and they have their local “mug club”
Name on your mug - can’t imagine our home up at Government Camp without them
