Nestled in the heart of Parkdale is a true local breakfast gem. The biscuits were delicious, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Everything is homemade. I got the breakfast sandwich and a side of sausage gravy. 100% recommend this place. It’s a small restaurant so expect wait times during busy peaks.
If the weather allows, a great place to grab brunch outside. It can get cozy inside.If I can find a friend, I prefer to split the chicken fried steak. Food portions are huge. I struggle to finish a single biscuit with gravy. The Bloody Mary and Caesar are spot on.I often will take home a biscuit with raspberry rhubarb spread for an afternoon snack.Parking: Lot with 4 spots to the West. I went here on the recommendation of a friend. I am still full and in awe of the food. The waiter was so personal, and the breakfast was hands down, the best chicken fried steak breakfast (with gravy) I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot) The homemade biscuit was large, delicious, and I ordered a side of extra gravy for it because their gravy was fantastic.
