The beginner slope, Buttercup, features a unique chair lift that can be intimidating, but the other two lifts are a breeze. For a unique experience, visitors can ski out from the Sunset lot or HRM lot. The resort also offers a moving sidewalk on the bunny hill, perfect for beginners. The staff is patient and encouraging, with one attendant, Matthew, going above and beyond to help new skiers learn. Overall, Mt. Hood Meadows is a great destination for skiers of all levels, with plenty of runs, amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere.
