Ram’s Head Bar Reviews
Food is good but expensive.
Don’t know about food or drinks. We waited at the bar for 20 minutes and didn’t even get acknowledged by the bartenders, bar wasn’t that busy or crowded, at the actual bar. I get having dinner clients, but a simple “hey! We will be with you in a moment” would have sufficed.
Overpriced, mediocre food and slow service that we still had to pay a 20% tip due to our large group, plus an unexplained 'culinary service' charge. To top it off, the plates we were served on were dirty so I can't imagine the kitchen is clean.

Ram’s Head Bar is a very atmospheric and cozy place with a historic vibe and spectacular views of the snowy mountains, including Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Hood. The ambience is very special. The hot chocolate tasted amazing and is famous, very good, and tasty. The giant pretzel is a must try, delicious with warm cheese sauce. The Bruno’s brownie was pretty good, rich and satisfying. Portions are massive and the food is generally pretty heavy, but it is expensive for what it is. Food is hit or miss; some items are mediocre, bland, and subpar. The meatballs were good, but the kids pizza was absolutely flavorless and the pretzel was way over salted. Staff was friendly but slow. When the only option in the ski area, a pretzel costs $17 and a meatball sub $24. Best to go for choices most people have recommended.
