“This place is like the real life cheers bar, but for coffee. Their service is too notch and so is the food. Also, they serve real food. Not store bought microwaved garbage. Couldn't recommend more! The best biscuits and gravy around as well as bagel breakfast sandwiches.”

“I'll never forget my First Mt hood roasters coffee experience. My brother took me here way back when and we made it a tradition to stop in and grab coffee on our way home from skiing. He now lives in Colorado but I have kept the tradition alive but getting a coffee for me and I send him beans. Love your roasts and homemade goodies.”

The representative I spoke with via Skibowl's chat help line on 12/1/20 not only answered my questions promptly but went above and beyond to give me recommendations for our stay that helped us plan some fun while also operating within the governor's covid safety guidelines. “Best nachos on the mountain, so huge! They have affordable prices and the view off the deck is great watching people on the rope tow park. The day time lady bartender is super friendly and efficient. Only problem is some of the food runners are shy and instead of yelling out numbers they run through the busy crowd with food looking rushed. It's a loud bar, don't be afraid to speak up.”

“Cooper's is one of my favorite places on the mountain! They have an amazing wine selection and Bri is incredibly knowledgable and will point you in the right direction! They throw great events, including bringing really fantastic wine makers from all over Oregon and Washington to do tastings. I love sitting on the patio with a snack and a glass of wine on a sunny day and this is a great location for getting together with friends or a romantic date night!”

“James Beard worthy! The owner met with us after dinner this week and explained his dishes with pride. He cuts all beef and poultry on-site and makes the deserts from scratch. Our steaks were the finest, well aged and prepared we have had nationwide. The flourless chococate cake will leave you speachless. Thank you for the experience, we will be back!”

“We are staying nearby for our kids’ ski camp, and while my husband was out golfing, my daughter and I stopped in to order some food and enjoy the beautiful view. Unfortunately, my daughter developed a bad headache. Laura went completely out of her way to help—she got headache medicine from the gift shop and brought it over to us. Her kindness and exceptional service truly made our visit memorable. The food was okay, but we’ll definitely be back for the amazing view and, most importantly, Laura’s outstanding customer service. Thank you, Laura, for your genuine care and hospitality!”
