About Mt Hood Village Deli & Sweets

Mt Hood Village Deli & Sweets is a charming, small diner with a cozy, local vibe. It is known for its wonderful food and friendly staff, often making customers feel like part of the community. The restaurant offers a variety of tasty breakfast options, with biscuits and gravy being a popular choice among regulars, who enjoy it multiple times a week. Their breakfast dishes, including $4 egg mcmuffins and $4 breakfast burritos, are well-loved, and the biscuits and gravy are considered some of the best on the mountain. Customers also praise their cookies, especially the white chocolate, cranberry, and oatmeal cookies, which are described as some of the best ever eaten. Pastries and sweet treats are available, adding to the delightful selection.

For lunch, the Chopt Italian sub is a hit for its size and flavor, prepared with care by friendly staff. However, some find the half-sandwich portion to be quite small for the price. The place features a second floor with clean wood booths and local art on the walls, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Overall, Mt Hood Village Deli & Sweets is appreciated for its delicious food, welcoming environment, and the owner’s lively personality, making it a favorite stop for locals and visitors alike.

The biscuits and gravy were good, and the white chocolate, cranberry and oatmeal cookies were some of the best I’ve ever eaten. I went back twice while we were in town for more! Also, the owner is a lively person!
Hidden gem off the road. Stopped in for a Chopt Italian sub. It was massive and delicious! Sweetest lady took our order and made it with care! Small little diner with a local vibe!
I ordered two bagels 🥯 with cream cheese ($4), and added turkey ($4) and sprouts 🌱 ($1). It added up quickly! Everything was delicious, but I wish they had included more turkey, especially since I paid extra for it. Overall, tasty, but the portions could be better for the price.
