Small bakery operating only on weekends. I’ve stopped in several times to try various offerings and have not been disappointed. Probably tend to pick up too much as everything looks so good and is so good. Give it a try and you wont be disappointed. Expect a line out the door.
Amazing baked goods including really great gluten free options. Swedish cream was amazing!

Mt. Hood Baking Company is a cozy, local bakery known for its fabulous bread, yummy treats, and a variety of options. The team is welcoming and makes everyone feel cared for. The ladies running this place are the sweetest. It is super affordable. The pastry’s are to die for. Their bread looks amazing. The chocolate chunk cookie w/sea salt is a must-try, along with the zigzag pastry and olive oil cake. It is a delightful place to stop on the way to the mountain. Customers often visit weekly for their favorite baked goods, including bagels, cookies, croissants, and scones, which are as plentiful as they are beautiful. The bakery is also praised for its delicious sourdough bread and tasty treats that impress families and visitors alike. From the breakfast sandwiches to the baked goods it was all great. They got the blackberry pie bar, maple cronut, and the s’mores bar and would get any of those again. The breakfast sandwiches were surprisingly so good and it’s worth going just for those. The sourdough and pastries are something special. They got several pastries, macarons and sandwiches during their vacation. Every bite is incredible in the right spots… crusty, soft, flavorful, and made with care. You can feel the love in everything they bake and make. Located behind the Welches library, it’s a charming gem worth visiting whenever in the area.
