This place is beautiful with an amazing landscape, yard games and a beautiful little orchard.
It's right at the base of a mountain with some EXCELLENT wine, cider, and beer. I got a beer and Mango Cider and they are absolutely delicious.

We are visiting from PA, saw the awesome views of Mt. Hood on their website and figured this would be a great stop after hiking all day. We got there about 515pm and we knew their closing time was posted as 6pm so we noted upon entering we were just there for a drink. The woman at the front was not at all friendly, asking if we had a reservation and advising us they only had room at the bar inside(there were 3 of us...4 seats at the bar). There were about 10 empty picnic tables and more smaller tables outside on the lawn and half of the inside tables were empty, yet there was only room at the bar? We sat down at the bar, ordered beer which they poured into very nice glasses. After staring at the staff running back and forth waiting on a party that was happening outside under the canopy, I asked for them to cash out our tab and were would finish up drinking our beers outside at a picnic table so we could enjoy the nice day and beautiful views. Despite several other parties having glasses outside, we were told we could not take the glasses outside and she poured the half of our beer that was left into plastic cups. The beer was average and we didn't try the food, but the reception we were given by everyone that worked there was cold and unwelcoming. We spend a lot of time in small family owned breweries, I would rate the service here as one of the worst I have ever encountered. While the views are great, don't waste your time stopping here.

Their tiny patio was packed and they didn't let me order a pizza to-go unless I was going to sit and eat it there on site...
It's the only place that sells food for miles, yet they refuse to sell to people willing to spend money?
What kind of business are they running here?

Beautiful view, delicious food and drink, great atmosphere. If you get a reservation you get more food choices, but you can also walk in. Both the cider and the wine flights are very good.

Had the wrong beer poured for me with no queue. After ordering two beers and finding seating went back for pizza. Was upchagred for pizza despite already having the required alcohol purchase.Between this and grateful the menu is unclear and confusing. Can’t get the same pizzas you can inside, despite them coming from the same kitchen.Just underwhelmed by service but can say the beer is decent.

Seeing as how another reviewer doesn't understand what "mediocre" means and gave a 1 star review, I'll balance it out with a 3 star review. That said, "...at best" wasn't far off. Although the staff was very nice, and the view is beautiful, sadly, the beers were definitely below average compared to the hundreds of breweries we have visited. We didn't try wine or cider, so can't comment on those, but if you are going specifically for the beer, we'd recommend giving it a skip. Any of the breweries in Hood River and Solera right nearby are better options.

Can't speak to their pizza or beverages as I left after being completely ignored for 20 minutes. First inside the building where I was told after standing there for 10 minutes that I can order outside, then outside where they decided to take care of the couple that cut in front of me. Guess they don't need more business, so I'll take it somewhere else.
