When it is drizzly in Oregon, what to do? Winery tasting. We found Nehalem Bay Winery as we were exploring along the Oregon coast. 4 adults split 2 tastings. 2 shared a white/reds tasting. We shared a reds tasting. The deck views were fantastic as well as the hydrangea's were HUGE! The outside bathrooms told the story of the winery - interesting history!

We are on vacation and decided to stop at some wineries. We are glad that stopped in here. This place is quaint and adorable!!! The engery is peaceful and relaxing! We were welcomed in by Arlo. Arlo is very welcoming, friendly and helpful! I mentioned to him that I drive for a wine tour company on NC and we talked about wines. Arlo, thanks for a great time.
We decided to do a tasting. My overall favorite was Honeymead! Sweet and refreshing!!! Great wine for a summer day! The husband got the Pinot Noir. We did buy 2 bottles to drink while on vacation. We also found out that they ship to NC because we didn't have a suitcase to bring our wine back home.
Definitely stop in and try their wines!!!

Absolutely not. Wine was disgustingly sweet. Facility is dirty and dilapidated. Their wine flight consists of you getting a taste and coming back for each one. Was told it was to "save plastic" but all other places will tell you about a wine while you sip. It's just like being at a grocery store. Absolutely do not recommend. Clean the place and improve the wine.

Nehalem offers a beautiful outdoor setting for wine tasting. The building has a charming, old-world feel, and we preferred sitting outside. They provide five different wine tastings, making for a delightful experience. The server was also very nice.
