A wonderful visit! We met the owner and he gave us information about the wines and vineyard. His staff provided excellent service and took great care of us.

Decided to go to McMinnville area for our anniversary weekend. It’s early in the season, rainy and thought we would try Archer vineyards as they had live music this day. The winery tasting room was fairly nice, but ambiance was so-so. If it hadn’t been for the musician it would’ve been lackluster. We opted for the tasting flight at $30 per person. The samples were very small and seemed only barely worth the cost. We did enjoy the Cab and at $70 per bottle retail was quite pricey. The offer is that if you buy 3 bottles one tasting is waived so $10 off per bottle. Since we were celebrating we figured we might splurge but still felt spendy for our opinion on the quality for price. We offered to buy 3 bottles with one tasting waived and asked if they would include two wine glasses (retail value $30 for 2 which is equivalent to throwing in our second tasting) the owners daughter declined, she offered 2 small stemless wineglasses for retail $5 each and refused to even through those in with purchase of 3 bottles of imo overpriced wine. I’m sure those glasses don’t cost her more than $1 each. I felt like this is a pretentious winery and I personally will never visit again. This is one of many and I don’t see the point of not being generous to customers when the prices are high. Why not make the customer feel great for a very small expense when they are spending money at your business? Idk ?‍♀️ but I think another winery would be a better option.

We have been members at Archer for nearly 10 years. Can't believe I haven't submitted a review before but feel compelled to do so now. My wife and I moved from Oregon to San Diego 5 years ago but still remain members and get our wine delivered quarterly to our home in Southern California. We came to Oregon this weekend and stopped in at the tasting room in Dundee. Sara greeted us w a smile (as always!) and a glass of the always pleasant Sheru Pinot Gris. So crisp and refreshing!! Sara and her staff are always so accommodating and knowledgeable about the wine but they also serve beer and in a wine glass that is a fun alternative. Thank you to Archer for always meeting/exceeding our expectations. Can't wait to come back again!

I went to Archer Vineyard for the first yesterday with a friend and we loved it! The tasting room was clean and bright and the view was lovely. Sara and Stephen poured our flights and educated us about the wines. They were so knowledgable and friendly. We will definitely be back!

The winery has a "family feel" and the wine is bold and playful. The staff brings a family presence that makes you feel valued. The Bubbly Rosé is a perfect starter and 2016 Hopewell Pinot is fantastic. Then it gets better as you cruse into the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon with flying colors. I highly recommend this winery, as I was an outsider visiting the area, but it made me feel at home (Bay Area). Stephen is very knowledgeable of Archer wines and shows his passion in what he does.

Wow. 10/10. Five stars. Highly recommend. The staff were wonderful, the wine was exquisite, the ambiance was welcoming and warm. With killer views and delish wine, this was an amazing tasting experience. My husband and I happened to be in the area and very randomly picked Archer for a quick pre-lunch tasting. We walked in to Steven behind the counter and Sara (the cellar master) in the tasting room. They were both super friendly and welcoming, and most importantly, very knowledgeable about their wine. We had tastings and conversation and it felt more like just hanging out with old friends. Eventually the owner, Saj, came in and it really turned into a five star VIP experience. Steven took us into the cellar and told us all about different barrels and their process. Saj even treated us to a tasting of Syrah straight from barrel. Nearly two hours later we finally left, with gigantic purple smiles on our faces. Aside from the atmosphere, the wine was truly top notch. We tasted 2019/2020 wines and Steven and Sara told us all about the different flavors and how the fires affected the grapes. We tasted everything from whites, to Pinots, and even a bubbly. Truly a great experience. I highly recommend stopping into to Archer!

Love! Sat our group of 9 immediately with no reservation. Great open & beautiful space. There was live music, and a great vibe. Fantastic wine. The 2016 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir was my favorite. It's very rare for me to like a Chardonnay, but their's is delicious, with a touch of oak & a slightly dry refreshing finish. I quite enjoyed the 2019 Pinot Noir as well as the bubbly too :). Charcuterie board was nice touch for eats, and the homemade pineapple habanero jelly is delish. You can purchase many of the jams/jelly's at the front along with candles, clothing, and other items.

Last minute pop in turned in the most wonderful afternoon tasting with Stephen! My friend and I had an absolute blast tasting all the amazing wines and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and personable, definitely a must stop in Oregon wine country! Cheers!
