Such a great little spot in town. We were lucky enough to go when they were doing an open mic night and had so much fun watching all the local talent!

I love this place! The concept, the food, the drinks, the service, the games, and the super dope gaming table in the back are all great reasons to visit B&V! The first time I went here a few years ago, the bar seemed a bit more centered around the idea of being a spot for people to just chill, or get together with their friends to play tabletop games. It's such a wonderful idea, and that "third place" is often so hard to find. Unfortunately, my friends and I have been visiting a lot less frequently these days. The place is still great, but it's just so incredibly loud. I can't hear myself think, and I can't hear anyone trying to talk to me. The echo is painfully loud. The back room also gets very noisy, which makes gaming difficult. The music back there is usually too loud for gaming even when it's not crowded at all. I really do think it has the potential to be a great place for beer and wine lovers, AND tabletop gamers alike, just needs some fabric sound dampening panels or something. I just really miss going here, but it feels inaccessible nowadays.

We enjoy having informal meals at Barley & Vine Tavern! We usually get a salad and either a sandwich or chicken nachos, accompanied by a nice glass of wine or cider. It’s a relaxing atmosphere with tons of games to play while enjoying a meal or a drink.

If your not coming here every Tuesday then you must not be aware of the amazing two dollar tacos . Yep 2 bucks ! These tacos are quality! Carnitas , Steak , Chicken all really good. Great selection of tap beers and ciders . Owner and staff are very friendly. Can't make it on Tuesday ? Try the nachos !!!! Incredible! Different size options, daily homemade queso !

Cozy pub with a lot of character. Very friendly staff. Produces great food out of its tiny kitchen. Has a wide variety of beer and wine choices. Board games available in the back room. Even has an occasional open mic night for whatever talent people want to display. Definitely worth a visit.

Came here for lunch, and got two sandwiches cuz I was hungry. Food was so good I ascended to God, spiritually high-fived him and got challenged to a dance battle with the Holy Spirit. I felt as though I had finally been personally blessed by God, the food was just so good. Service was really nice, our server was extremely kind and informative.

Good service. Nice selection of drinks, especially beer. Interesting, quirky, and fun atmosphere. Nachos were fantastic.

Really fun little spot! I'm so glad I finally made it over here. Love the games and welcoming culture (looking at you, rainbow flag). Decent selection of food and drinks - but the nachos were covered in way too many olives! Honestly the olives ruined it. I don't love olives but I will tolerate a reasonable amount of them, but this was way too much. It was an absolute minefield of olives. I've talked to other people about this, and olive lovers and olive haters alike agree that there are too many olives on these nachos. B&V, cut your costs, increase customer satisfaction, and cool it on the olives.

I found this to be underwhelming. We ordered take out on our way to the drive in theater. The food didn't taste fresh or house made. The bruschetta was especially disappointing, tasted like it was made with canned tomatoes.

Probably the greatest bar in Newberg! It also has lots of board games and plenty of table space.

I did not write a tip because I found the service poor. They still charged me 5 dollars for a tip without my permission. I do think that is suspicious and will not be
