Hands down the best sushi in Newberg. The quality of their fish is much higher than other places and your portions are a bit larger too. They have the best combinations and best tasting sushi I've ever had. I've been craving them since they've been temporarily close. I hope that all is well and that they can open up soon. My absolutely favorite sushi place. My favorite roll is the pink lady, it is a sweet crunchy roll and I have found no other place that has that kind of sushi. Just hands down amazing I’ve been dying since they’ve closed down temporarily.

I grabbed takeout for the first time, after questioning this place for awhile. A friend who used to live in Newberg recommended it and it's a little gem!Definitely order the cucumber salad - so fresh and crunchy and delicious! Also, the Orange Dragon roll from the special roll menu was to die for. I tried their gyoza which were also a hit! I was surprised by the nigiri sushi - it was a generous piece of salmon on top of the rice patty, so if you're a fan of that try that too!She said that the truffle salmon is one of her favorite things on their menu, which I was hesitant to try on the first round. I will definitely look into a truffle offering next time around!

Decent (if basic) sushi and SUCH nice staff. Ichi is on our regular rotation of restraints in the area and I'd highly recommend when you need your sushi itch scratched.

Pretty good sushi. Not the best I’ve ever had, but probably the best in the area. The staff is very friendly. They often have the food ready about 10 minutes later than the time they tell you, so no need to rush for your pick up order.

I get takeout at least once a month and prior to covid restrictions, proudly brought out-of-town family and friends here. The food is fantastic, whether you order entrees or sushi, and their Saki selection is great. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if you're in the area, you will not be disappointed
We've been eating here for a couple years now and have tried nearly everything on the menu. Even though we have local sushi spots in town, we go out of our way and make the drive to eat here. All of their salmon options are served with a healthy amount of salmon unlike other restaurants. Their house salad dressing is TO DIE FOR! We buy it by the tub to eat on throughout the week.

The food is always good, the attitude towards the guests is agreeable. I frequently visit this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it to all.

I've been coming to Ichi for well over a year now, and they are my favorite sushi place in town! The owners are so sweet and they are great with customer service. I always get the crunchy roll, crab salad, and California rolls. It's sooo delicious! I can't go a week without it. If you need a new sushi place and want to support a great business, try this place out. :-)

Terrible people who have a bad attitude. They threatened me over a parking spot that was an honest mistake on my part. On there part it was threatening me with violence and vandalism. I hope they go out of business
