I had the Waygu beef dish which was very expensive and not at all good. It was a small portion that was tough and had a small amount of sauce which did not have much flavor. The 2 brussel sprouts were hard and not cooked sufficiently. It was a waste of money.

Had several meals there. Breakfast was great each time. Dinner was a disappointment. Steak was over cooked. Wife fish was bland. Hotel was great.

We have dined here several times...tonight was not up to par. The Caesar salad was bland and tasteless (Outback steakhouse has a better one) and the Wagyu steak was oversalted, undercooked and cold when served. The brussel sprouts were nicely crisped on the outside but uncooked on the inside and hard. The steak's sauce was very good but would have been better if warm. The green salad was pretty good and the pasta was very good. For an upscale place I would expect the Caesar to be spot on/a signature "go to" and for their one and only steak to be cooked to perfection.

Beautiful setting and great service, but the good was disappointing. Overcooked all the fish and no dressing on Caesar salads.

Always wonderful service, great wine list experienced sommelier- fabulous food ambience. Such a wonderful place to bring guests and sit back, relax and enjoy being spoiled.

Jory is a beautiful restaurant in a great setting, so when we walked in our expectations were high. However, my wife and I felt uncomfortable. Our server was wonderful and the support staff was professional. We split a salmon tower starter which was tasty but very hard to eat with the large crackers...not worth the $28 price. My entree was the halibut which lacked seasoning and was a small portion. It was served with pickled fennel that was poorly prepped with the core still attached and a fennel sauce that didn't ready add to the party ($55). My wife's entree was much better ... a cauliflower gnocchi dish with mushrooms and vegetables which was very good. She added salmon which almost doubled the cost. Although very tasty the $63 price was very high. Our server actually comped the entrees without any prompting as the took a very long time to arrive. All in all, Jory wouldn't be our choice when we return to the Willamette Valley.

Visiting from St Louis and so glad we made a reservation. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable!! The food was wonderful and we had an excellent dining experience. The wagyu beef entree was exceptional. Highly recommend

Incredible food on the chef's tasting menu! Everything was so beyond our already high expectations. The food was literally a perfect piece of art on a plate and the tastes were mind blowing 🤯🤯🤯 An absolutely fabulous evening!

This restaurant is beyond excellent. Food was delicious and fresh. Tomato salad is one of the best salad I ever had. And the bread was so warm and fresh. Main course was just perfectly done. Wine price is very reasonable and great selection. Service was professional and just perfect. Everything was beyond expectations and would love to go back, Highly recommend who wants to have a romantic, or social dinner in nice view and lively mood.

Not a huge selection on the menu but everything was excellent. Several GF options as well as vegetarian. Nice wine selection and lovely location.

We are very fortunate to have the stunning, top notch Allison Inn and Jory restaurant right in our Dundee-Newberg community. We gathered to celebrate two birthdays on a Saturday evening. We were greeted warmly, our dual celebrations acknowledged and our table preference honored. Shannon provided the initial orientation as we perused the wine list for some celebratory bubbles. Jordan flawlessly presented and poured a most admirable Corollary, an Oregon “sparkling only” young, entrepreneurial, husband and wife team. He returned with an ice bucket ensuring the temp was right from start to finish. After toasting and sipping, Shannon recorded our tasting menu selections and the Jory team created and choreographed an artful, tasteful and truly memorable dining experience. Starting with the amuse bouche, a shaved plum flower with goat cheese and fennel polled framed within a charcoal pottery teardrop bowl. Unlike other tasting menus, where a guest may be relegated only to the chef's adventure the four and five course tasting menu provides a choice of one of three options per course. Our selections ranged from sous vide lobster, octopus carpaccio, rabbit, duck breast, halibut, waygu, sturgeon, and pork tenderloin with the final course being the choice of a cheese course or three dessert options. We finished with two cheese courses and two celebration of bees desserts with special recognition for the birthday guests. The only minor flaw was the 2021 Greywing Pinot Noir we selected, featured on the extensive tablet wine list as a mid-way accompaniment was not available in the 21 vintage as listed, only the 22. Vintage matters, so we opted to review and select a different 21 vintage Oregon pinot noir. This led to a gap in service and wine accompaniment. Jory has a most extensive tablet wine list, thus assuming ease to update in real time. Nevertheless we left singing the Jory team praises and look forward to return.

The wait-staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. Several of the courses were excellent (Heirloom Tomato Salad, and Wagyu Striploin for examples), however, there were some exceptions. 1) Of particular note was the halibut with pickled fennel and olives. While the fennel was prepared nicely, the halibut was bland and uninteresting. I was hoping to find the fennel and olive flavors enhancing the fish, but it tasted like the first time they met was on the plate before serving. This left the halibut unflavorful and almost dry. 2) We were hoping for an enjoyable meal at an unrushed pace. The service time to start ordering and between courses was unusually long though. If this is normal pacing for JORY, at their price point, I would have expected small tasting items (palate cleansers or an intermezzo) for instance between courses to keep the flow consistent and interest in the meal up. We had frequent visits to the table to refill water, but this did not work to provide good continuity between courses. The service was good to great, the food ranged from OK to great. On balance it is a stretch to say great value for the money -- maybe OK value.

We loved our dinner at Jory. We brought our own bottle of wine (always grateful when restaurants allow this) and absolutely loved the food! Each dish was delicious! The restaurant is located at the Allison hotel and the grounds and location are beautiful. Definitely was a special evening.
