Very poor customer service, unsanitary and my food tasted old. definitely not eating here again
I have not written a review in a very long time. Although, after visiting La Gran Victoria I had to take a moment to share my thoughts. Both of my parents are from Michoacan, Mexico. Growing up I would be spoiled with traditional dishes daily. In addition to this my uncle would make the BEST al pastor, tripa, and carne asada tacos I'd ever had. Since moving away from home I haven't found anything throughout California or Oregon that was even remotely comparable to what I had growing up... until now.La Gran Victoria is it. My white whale. I genuinely can't believe I found food this good coming out of a truck in Newberg. The food was beyond delicious. It was made so fresh we could hear the meal being prepared from outside of the truck. It also came out pretty quick. Four tacos (two of which were tripa), two massive chile rellenos, rice, beans, half a liter of coke, and dessert for less than 40$. Phenomenal. When I was done with my meal I took a moment to thank Victoria, the woman who owns the truck, for the meal. We began to talk and she told me her story of selling tamales to save up for her truck, making meals with carpal tunnel syndrome so she can sustain her business, and the struggles she faces being monolingual Spanish, running her business, and supporting her family. All of these obstacles worth it because she gets to make and share the food she loves so much. Her passion showed through the food. Although the truck has seen better days what comes out of it is near perfect.I will be going back... a lot. Whether I'm missing home, or need a hangover cure after a long Saturday, I will be there all the time. I would highly suggest anyone check it out and give the staff lots of leniency and love.
I have gotten their enchiladas verdes a few times and it's always delicious with just the right amount of spice. Their horchata is great too.
Burritos and tamales SO GOOD!!!
Been going for a while now and no complaints! Food is good and and rather quick of it's not crazy busy.
This place is our go-to. Everyone needs to get the gorditas asap. Honestly, people in reviews are complaining about customer service, but they are so friendly and remember our order at this point. I don't normally review, but saw they only had 3.9 and they absolutely deserve higher!
food was pretty good,, but usually when i eat a chile relleno the cheese is melty but here it was solid as block of cheese, still it deserves 3 stars for taste and presentation
It was a very long wait when they did. It have a lot of people in front of us. Also the cashier was very rude.
Ordered a chicken burrito and it was good. Pretty normal. Nothing fancy. Not huge or small, just normal. Red and green salsas were good.
The picaditas and the banana leaf tamales are AMAZING! Authentic mexican food at a good price.

I love her green enchiladas, green picaditos and her rice! It’s spicy but delicious!
The women working there (owner) was very sweet!! Authentic food at a food court! They were knowledgeable about gluten free. I got their taco meal and it was super good! They even have their own fresh herbs growing outside their place. It’s in an outdoor food court, with outside seating, even in winter they have things outside to keep you warm in the winter. Command for authentic Hispanic type food.
I was looking forward to trying this food truck, but it was unfortunately my first and last visit. I ordered to go. The customer service was fine, not very friendly but that's understandable being towards the end of the day. My order came out in a decent amount of time and was correct. However, the food itself was a real disappointment. I ordered a tamale plate and chicken tacos. The chicken was very dry and there were bones in it. One that was about 2in long and a smaller one. As for the tamales, I cut one in half to split with someone and I'm thankful I did because sticking out of the middle was a large piece of plastic. 3-4inches long. Both dishes posed a nasty choking hazard. The flavors were good though.....I tried to reach out to them via e-mail, but never got a reply.
Very hateful service and has refused service to others without any reason. Don’t support a business that has absolutely no customer service skills and treats customers in a very disrespectful way
If she decides to serve you, she’ll do it but with a hateful manner
