I did a tasting with friends and we had a wonderful time. We arrived mid afternoon on a Saturday and it was not that busy despite the beautiful July day. Great wine, great views, great atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and we felt like they were truly happy to chat with us.

We visited this winery as a bonus stop last week based on the recommendation of an employee at another winery and we were so glad we took his advice. This place probably had the best view of any winery we visited, and the wines were exquisite, as well. What a fun and educational tour of Penner-Ashe. The tasting room is on a gorgeous mountain with amazing flowering plants all around. The smell of fresh lavender wafts through the air providing a light, fresh scent as you walk through the garden to see the valley view.

We loved our time with Alexis here — she was the absolutely best! Beautiful views, flowers, and building, too. Very enjoyable atmosphere. And being the size they are, it’s one of the few places nearby you can do a really good side-by-side tasting of Pinot from the different local micro-AVA’s and figure out which one you like best.

Our Legacy Tasting at Penner Ash was one the best winery visits we have ever experienced. We’ve done winery tastings/tours in NAPA, Burgundy, Piemonte, Valpolicella, Tuscany, Australia, Bordeaux and this particular experience ranks up there with the best we’ve had. The experience was enhanced by our customer service person, Joseph, who was very well versed on the Pinot Noirs offered by Penner Ash and the Willamette Valley. The dishes that complemented our tasting were exquisitely presented and paired exceptionally well with our wines.
