Amazing winery with awesome views just south of Portland, OR.
Reservations strongly recommended.
Rex Hill Vineyards is truly perfect. I went here to celebrate my anniversary and passing my somm test, and I genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. I would name everyone that was so kind and knowledgeable but the list goes on and on, everyone that we came across that works there deserves a raise and a smooch. I can’t wait to move to Oregon simply so I can enjoy more time spent in that stunning environment. No qualms!!!
The location was so beautiful and the staff was very accommodating, since we came between shifts and they were no officially open, they still poured a glass of wine for us, it did not disappoint!
Can’t say enough about the winery and especially Joan! We’ve been to several wineries and there are great and not so great at each one… Except for Rex Hill Winery. All the wines we’ve tasted have been great! Joan is an amazing guide on the wine tasting journey. She is super knowledgeable, but more importantly, friendly! If you get a chance, go to Rex Hill Winery and get ready to join the wine club, we did! Oh, don’t forget the food, the short rib is fantastic! Chef Billy Brownlee is an artist!
My husband and I visited Rex Hill because we know A to Z well and wanted to see what the Rex Hill brand was all about. Boy were we blown away. I had the best glass of Pinot I’ve ever had in my entire life. No no, scratch that, it was the best glass of wine I’ve ever had in my life. Period. The tasting room is gorgeous, it has even more gorgeous views of Oregon wine country, and it’s right off the main road. 10/10 recommend. Service was top notch, too!
Four of us visited Rex Hill yesterday. The tasting room was lovely and had a wonderful view. The wine flight was very good, particularly the Chardonnay ( typically we love the Pinot ). We ordered many items from the menu ( oysters, crab quesadillas, peach and nectarine salad and ceviche) and all were outstanding! The sous chef prepared everything as the head chef was out, she did an amazing job. Lastly, Zoe, who managed our visit was a wonderful historian and educator. Loved how she kept referring to the vineyard as “ours/my campus/our commune”. You could tell Rex Hill really brings their employees into the family. Love it!
Jonathan very friendly!
Amazing wine. Loved the individual attention and explanation of the process and what to expect on the palate. The room was equally Stunning.
We enjoyed our time at Rex Hill! The atmosphere was so relaxing and the wine was phenomenal. Our guide for the tasting was Jeff and he was top notch. We plan to revisit the next time we’re in town!

I’m not sure who is doing the hiring at Rex Hill, but wow are they nailing it! Absolutely the best team there, from Jonathan, to Doug, Jeff, Joan, Zoe, Kristi, Rylee and of course, the most wonderful Chef Billy. The wine is absolutely fantastic, but the hospitality is above and beyond, 20/10. We can’t get enough of this place!
I loved it
Jonathan gave us an amazing experience! Wonderful wines, delicious oysters, and a BEAUTIFUL spot to drink an amazing Pinot Noir! Don't miss Rex Hill!
My husband and I had an awesome tour that led to an amazing lunch and tasting. We were treated with kindness and respect while also sharing a few laughs and stories. The wine is out of this world. The food was amazing. And the service was genuine, timely, and warm. Thank you for an amazing experience. We are glad we chose this winery when traveling all the way from Pittsburgh!
We jumped all over valley and hands down best wine we had
