Recommended by our wine guide at Cristom. Glad we dropped by this lovely place. Great food and service and really yummy guac! Seasonal margarita was also very good.

Kopitos is our new favorite spot! I can't believe I waited so long after they opened to try it. The food is outstanding. Great service too.

I miss the See See Motor Coffee that was here previously, with their motorcycles spaced around as decoration. But I am impressed with this new Mexican restaurant! It is NOT fast food, and it isn't a bargain place to dine. But the food is delicious!

Today, my first time in, I enjoyed their bacon and shrimp tacos on handmade tortillas. Fantastic! The best shrimp tacos I've ever eaten! The shrimp was fresh and not at all 'fishy' or 'gamy,' and the bacon added a nice savory note. I also tried the Dungeness crab tostadas, and they were good. I had piled the coleslaw on top before eating. Next time, I would keep it separate, I think. Two thumbs up, I'd you're willing to pay for a delicious meal. I look forward to coming back!

I stopped in for late lunch today. I’m a hospice nurse that travels all over Portland. I have been wanting to stop here. I really wanted some enchiladas, but they weren’t on the menu. But they had the happy hour menu. I’m a bariatric patient, so I can’t eat much. So I ordered the HH street tacos. It comes with 3 tacos. I got 2 carnitas (cause I’m a pork junkie), and one steak. It was not the regular asada, it was the flat iron. I ate the steak taco first, and it was outrageous! Omg so good. The corn tortillas must be homemade, because the fresh corn flavor was out of this world. I was already getting full, but I had to try the carnitas. It had been cooked perfect. Crispy and still moist. And I have to say, this was the best carnitas I’ve ever had. Ever. I was so happy that I had one taco left to bring home to my partner. He is a Mexican food junkie. And carnitas is his favorite as well. He was not a fan of the onions and cilantro, which I knew. But he also thought it was top of the line pork! Omg this place is soooo good. But I also want to mention a few other things. The restaurant was beyond clean. Absolutely beautiful and boutique like. I loved that they turned this spot into something so great. And the service was amazing! The waitress was so very sweet and attentive. Since I was working, I was also charting. I always appreciate when the wait staff notice I’m actually multi tasking by eating and working. And she did perfect. Enough attention that I had exactly what I needed, but not too much that I was able to still do my work. I will be back for sure! I always wanted to stop at the food truck, but I never had the time. So I’m so happy I was able to go today! You really need to try this food. It’s some of the best you’ll have!!!
