I've eaten here a few times have always been happy with the food, service and atmosphere. I recommend stopping in for a good burger or some wings and a cold beer!

Definitely a classic tavern atmosphere — lively, local, and full of regulars who all seem to know each other. We had burgers, and they were very good, cooked perfectly. It’s clearly a popular local hangout, and the busy crowd says a lot about the place. A fun, casual stop for good pub food in Newport.

Im only not giving 5 stars on service and atmosphere because im basing it on multiple visits and not necessarily my preference when talking atmosphere. The food is good and reasonably priced for what it is. On a normal day, the service is great and very friendly and personable. I traditionally sit at the bar so Victor and Tiffany are ususally who take care of me, there are some new faces still learning the ropes and im sure they will be great. When sitting at a table waiting for service, sometimes its good and sometimes its slow...thus the 4 stars Instead of 5...I just dont wanna get peeps hopes too high so they feel disappointed😉. Me...not generally in a hurry. The atmosphere is generally clean and busy, a dive bar wannabe without actually being one? Some days the bar or tables could use a wipe, but I dont want to presume I know how busy they were b4 I showed up...but dirty when I sat, so 4 stars instead of 5 again. But customer service is always friendly and personable and good and drinks great so u wont be disappointed. I highly recommend the meatball sandwich or the reuben!! Also open late which is the best part about this place in a town that likes to shut down by 9 or 10. Thank you!!!
