Definitely a classic tavern atmosphere — lively, local, and full of regulars who all seem to know each other. We had burgers, and they were very good, cooked perfectly. It’s clearly a popular local hangout, and the busy crowd says a lot about the place. A fun, casual stop for good pub food in Newport.
Im only not giving 5 stars on service and atmosphere because im basing it on multiple visits and not necessarily my preference when talking atmosphere. The food is good and reasonably priced for what it is. On a normal day, the service is great and very friendly and personable. I traditionally sit at the bar so Victor and Tiffany are ususally who take care of me, there are some new faces still learning the ropes and im sure they will be great. If you are in Newport and are over 21 this place is pretty damn good.
