Ordered the Bacon cheeseburger probably one of the best burgers I have ever had the burger comes with a choice of sides I picked french fries the order came out hot and tasty!! Highly recommend!!!

I guess they should change their advertised hours to closed at 3:30, since we were told they were closing when we walked in at 3:40.

Hands-down, the best breakfast on the coast. Love the family who owns it. Always delicious and great prices. Our kids love their kids meals and their fresh baked pies! Thank you! Great family run business. Always recommend to friends and family. Thanks again.

It’s not a visit to Newport without a visit to the Chalet! The two things I love the most are the gluten free options and the inexpensive kids menu. Just a great family friendly restaurant with nice staff and good food. We recently went camping for 3 nights at Beverly Beach and drove into Newport for brunch at the Chalet on 2 of those mornings. Would’ve been all 3 if we hadn’t been busy packing the third day.

This place had such great reviews and it was absolutely terrible from the moment my family walked in the door to the time we left it was horrible. The server barely acknowledged our table while people were served who came in after us.
I will never eat at this restaurant again

The coffee cake was banging. Get it with some black coffee before you explore the area. Listen to me and come here for breakfast! Staff is kind and attentive, GF options galore and they helped with checking for allergens quickly. They are also playing piano renditions of Linkin Park and that was super funny.

What a surprise find in Newport! Chalet Restaurant really impressed us — they make the basics taste amazing, from the waffles, eggs, to the French toast, all cooked perfectly.

Their jam was also a sweet little highlight. With its cozy diner charm, this spot truly added something special to our morning. Definitely worth stopping by for breakfast!

Nice staff and clean but the food was absolutely horrible. Orange juice was low quality and not fresh, clam chowder tasted like a mixture of water and flour with a few chewy clams dropped in, and the burger seemed to have been microwaved in a vegetable steamer.
