This restaurant has the best food in Newport, Oregon. Never had a bad plate of food. The service is fast and friendly, and the wait staff remember you if you are a repeat customer. Great burgers, fish, clam chowder, and shrimp. Big portions! Fantastic desserts, if you ever have enough room to order one after your meal is finished.
Megan and Emily are both incredible waitresses who made us feel so welcome. We only came here two days and Megan remembered what we liked and who we were. The food is absolutely amazing as well so it's definitely worth the visit!
Nothing happens when I click on the photo, it won’t let me load a photo of my black slimy translucent lettuce!
The chalet is our go to restaurant for breakfast and lunch however, today I had a salad. It looked great, until I started eating it and got black, slimy, lettuce, and even the iceberg lettuce was mostly soggy. Some of the iceberg lettuce was even translucent, looking as if it had been frozen at one time. I would be humiliated to serve a disgusting salad like this...
