Great restaurant with a down home beach feel Wife and I went here for dinner. We were greeted with a welcoming smile. Our service was excellent and friendly. Food was outstanding came out hot and fresh. We had chowder, fish and chips and the shrimp salad all of which were great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a family, friendly and cozy Beach atmosphere

This was our first time visiting Oregon, and we got to experience the coast in its traditional gloomy, misty, windy, rainy goodness. Dripping wet and cold, we came across the Chowder Bowl, a cozy little restaurant near the ocean. They had clam chowder in a sourdough bowl that I had to try. It was one of the best things I've ever had. It was like a warm blanket of goodness. It was the best meal experience of the whole trip.
