My husband and I have been coming here for literal years now. It's unpretentious, delicious food in an environment that is comfortable and welcoming. We've never had a bad meal or bad service here. The chowder is delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. The location is steps away from having your feet in the sand. As long as the Chowder Bowl is open, we will be loyal customers.
We had dinner at Chowder Bowl and it was okay. Not great, not extraordinairy. Maybe because we didn't order one of their signature dishes, because when looking at the other reviews they must be really great. Be aware of the noise inside; it wasn't fully packed but we could barely hear each other talk sometimes.
