Nice restaurant great atmosphere. Food was decent albeit a tad expensive. Good mocktail options. Clam chowder came out lukewarm which was obviously just microwaved and brought back out when we asked for it hotter, which felt a tad odd. Fish was tasty and fresh though!

My sister and I spent the afternoon wandering Newport and decided to pop in for dinner—zero expectations, zero research, fully vibing. We went in blind and honestly? Best decision of the day.
The place was cozier than expected, but the décor was cute, the energy was lively, and for a Tuesday around 6:30pm, it was pleasantly busy (which already felt like a good sign). Our waitress? Bubbly, friendly, and knew the menu. We love a professional with personality.
I sipped on the Basil Jalapeño Margarita—fresh, balanced, and just spicy enough to keep things interesting. My sister went with the Rico Guave (if memory serves), which she clearly enjoyed because the glass didn’t survive long.
Now… the star of the evening: the Local Dungeness Crab Mac & Cheese. Spectacular. Dare I say the best mac & cheese I’ve had in my lifetime, so far. Real, generous chunks of crab—no scavenger hunt required—rich, creamy, and perfectly executed.
My sister ordered the Tuna Melt and even after stealing bites of my mac (as sisters do), she confirmed it was fresh, creamy, and downright delicious. And here’s how you know it was good: my sister never finishes a meal. Ever. She lives for a to-go box.
We left with full bellies… and NO leftovers.
10/10 would wander in blindly again.

Went to Newport for my honey moon this weekend & was really disappointed in the many restaurants that were recommended to us. But we found this place & wow this place was a total difference. The food was literally amazing, I don’t have a single bad thing to say bad about our meals. The service was great & the server literally knew the menu so good if you know what I mean. It was almost like it was “his” restaurant. (Younger kid & tall)

We were a little nervous about time showing up without reservation 1.5 hours before close, but they seated us within 10 minutes and we got to enjoy the sea lion dock around the corner while we waited.
Our waiter was super friendly and also a Minnesota native! The food and drinks were great, the only thing I’d note is the portion sizes were a bit small, but still worth it. They offer postcards to mail out and I loved that touch! Would recommend.

Overpriced. Added on a 20% because my family is 6 people. My husband and I, and our 4 kiddos.. one was 2 years old. The receipt said 20% automatically due to party of 6. So the waitress got $30 right off the bat from the total. The food was sloppy and subpar. We came here to clean up the beach and celebrate my birthday. This place was a huge disappointment and waste of money. Stay away. Just look at the sea lions on the boardwalk and then keep on moving to somewhere else to eat. Seriously.
