This is hands down our favorite restaurant in Newport and probably in all of the Oregon coast towns! The mushroom risotto cakes are out of this world and we also love the fish & chips, shrimp alfredo, steak, surf and turf, and the drinks (especially great mocktails!), and the s’mores in a jar is so good it’s often sold out (in that case get the brownie a la mode Or cheesecake jar!). The food was really fresh and the flavor was good! But our coconut shrimp were overcooked so they were a little tough. I also found a couple pieces of crab shell in my salad. Kind of expensive for the portions, I’d rather spend my money somewhere else.
I had the tuna poke bowl and my husband had the crab mac and cheese, both were absolutely superb 👌 would have give a 5 star but our waitress was inattentive and slightly awkward, perhaps she's new. The food was great.
