We were staying nearby and popped in for some breakfast. The person working the front was not very welcoming. She barely smiled or acknowledged us coming in the door. She was busy cleaning the counter and refilling some pastries. It was our first time there, and we thought we maybe missed "a way of doing something." Finally, my husband had to tell her that we were ready to order. We ordered two drip coffees, a bagel sandwich, and a burrito. It took a little longer than normal to get our food. This did give us plenty of time to observe the same girl do the same thing to person after person. It was not a friendly environment to walk into. After waiting almost 20+ minutes we took our food back to our hotel. There wasn't much room to sit in this place or even wait for our order. However, the food was absolutely delicious. And I would go as far as to say it was worth the wait. Just don't expect to make a quick stop if you are ordering any type of food. However, again, I will say it is worth the wait to get one of their food items!

Food was made to order and excellent. Highly recommend the caprese toast! Scones were the perfect mix of crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Coffee was excellent as well. Friendly staff.

This place is confusing. Pastries are good. But the service is weird. They take one order at a time and complete it in full, with no sense of urgency, while ignoring the line. Just my opinion, but it seems like they'd rather have people walk out than move even sort of fast. Very odd.

We were on vacation in Newport and after visiting a couple of favorite local non chain restaurants, wanted to try some new restaurants. I’m a researcher and after plowing through multitudes of reviews on breakfast places, coffee shops and bakeries.. decided to try this. We ordered a peach pecan scone, marionberry scone, and a turkey havarti bacon puff pastry (croissant) and absolutely loved it! I’ve traveled extensively abroad and domestically since childhood and have to rate their breakfast treats top three lifetime. A must try if you’re in this area and enjoying the beautiful Oregon coast!!

Yikes, for a small establishment, this place was incredibly confused and took way too long to get our order out. Kept bringing me the wrong order, took over 15 minutes to get my to go breakfast order of toast and a burrito. Tables out front incredibly noisy to eat a meal due to traffic - why even have a patio if you end up shouting the whole time? The nerve of asking for a large tip on a takeout order, etc, when the service was slow and poor. No menu posted so you have to wait to see it when you get to the front of the line.
Nah, won't be back.
