I feel like we hit this place on an off day with high hopes for the best coffee on the coast. Our coffees were light and not aromatic at all. The coffee tasted watered down. And that was disappointing. I thought it was just my hubby’s mocha but my latte was off too.The barista was excellent though and very friendly! Hoping to try this place again in the coming days to have a better cup.

We spent five days in Newport and each day I tried a different coffee shop. This was my favorite. Fresh baked marionberry pastry was outstanding and the coffee was exactly what I like.

If you want the best coffee on the coast, go here.Great cozy atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff every time, and not to mention the BEST espresso I’ve ever had. And the baked goods are great as well! They usually have a good playlist going too.My partner is vegan and they are easily able to say which flavorings/syrups they have are vegan which is a big plus when ordering the specialty drinks. It’s a perfect place for 2 people to get coffee together.

We love it so much we drove 30 min out of the way just to come back for morning coffee and breakfast Best little place on the 101 for coffee & breakfast! Home made syrups, Eggnog and eats ? I wish there was one where we live. 100% recommend even if you're just looking for food! The box has the goat cheese avocado toast and I am holding the baconator, both are absolutely scrumptious!

Just paid $37 (with tip) for 2 dirty chai lattes and 2 breakfast sandwiches. There is no espresso in our lattes and our sandwiches have NO EGG. Seriously? How do you forget egg on breakfast sandwiches?

Maria and crew catered a light breakfast for a work event I held this morning in Newport. The food was fantastic! As was the promptness, presentation - a GREAT experience! Give them a try!
What a sweet place. My first experience at Coasties Roasties. Iced latte was delicious. Everyone was friendly. My bagel and cheese sandwich was basic and a little steep ($8)! Nothing to write home about. Pastries were excellent. Next time I'll definitely SKIP the bagel sandwiches. They're blah and not evenly dressed with toppings. Each bite is a little different. Docking a star because we came here Sunday morning and they're closed!

Awesome coffee shop! I've stopped in a couple of times. I've had "specialty" drinks which have been really good. I've tried both the sweet and the savory pastries and they've all been good and reasonably priced. All the people who work here are SUPER nice. So thankful to have a unique, small business coffee and snack shop in Newport.

A spontaneous find! Amazing baked goods, smiling staff, and quality coffee. We really lucked out with this find. No SBucks, or Dbrothers for us
