The dumplings! The broth!!!! Mojito Iced tea!!! I should have know. I will be back. Excellent service.
Super cute and cozy spot. We both got the black bean ramen with tofu, and the broth was already vegan thankfully. It wasn't as much of a soup as I was expecting, but a very thick sauce. The flavors were good but I do wish that the tofu was fried for another textural component.

We ate lunch here and chose to sit on the patio. They warmly welcomed us - even though it was 30 minutes before closing. I had the black cod noodles and my husband had the seared tuna bento box. The food was delicious and the server was friendly, warm and accommodating. I highly recommend it!

Coming from Pampanga—the culinary capital of the Philippines—I always look forward to trying Filipino food outside the homeland. I ordered their salmon sinigang, but honestly, it was way too sour. Even the tofu dish we got leaned the same way. On the brighter side, the siomai with its sauce and pancit with BBQ skewers was really delicious, and the scallops with curry? Absolutely superb!
I just hope the restaurant embraces Filipino cuisine in its authentic form, not the other version. Filipino food has such a beautiful balance of flavors—maasim (sour), maalat (salty), malinamnam(umami)—that it deserves to shine the way it was meant to.
That said, it’s refreshing to see Filipino food represented here. If you’re curious about our cuisine, it’s worth a visit—just know which dishes to go for. With a few tweaks, this place could easily become a favorite.

I've been here many times and every dish has been delicious. It is clear that the chef values using high quality and fresh local ingredients. The creativity is refreshing and the view is unmatched if it's a warm day and you sit outside. Yes, it has a small footprint in the way of seating, but brings a big punch when it comes to flavor. The chef tells a unique story through his menu about his experience, heritage and travels. Wait staff is fantastic. Menu does change fairly frequently and they will occasionally run out of popular dishes, but in my experience, that means everything is fresh, including the ambition to innovate. I hope Cuisinako is here for a long tenure. A must visit if you find yourself in Newport.

We were looking forward to trying a new-to-us restaurant, especially dumplings, but we never got in. We were literally blocked from entering the facility by a server saying, “We don’t have wheelchair facilities”, repeating this twice while we looked on in amazement.
Part of our amazement was due to a ramp, seemingly available for anyone to use, sat in front of us. There was a broken table partially blocking the top of the ramp, but any one could have walked around it or moved it with ease. The server didn’t mention anything about something being wrong with the ramp, no mention of us getting something to go, nothing. She just walked away.
I’ve personally never been refused service in such a blatantly discriminatory manner, and I wonder why they took this tack. They could have offered us a number of different ways for us to patronize their business. They could have explained why they were unable to provide us service. Did they? No!

AMAZING FOOD! On EAST end of Bay front! across from fishing boat docks. Don't get caught in the crowd, walk east to this delightful asian epicurean adventure! with sunny outside, or cozy indoor seating. And the Blackberry Lemonade is a fabulous starter. Also the Mojito Iced Tea. Then try the seared Tuna, and some dumplings. It's light fare cooked by talented chefs. Truly unique and so fresh. DONT MISS this is a Locals favorite for A+ food. Gourmet. Modest looking building houses some of the very the best food in Newport.

The place was small, but it was fun to look at all the decorations and the service was really good. The best was the food, the bento box with salmon that I had was delicious and the pork ramen was also very yummy. The small plates and dumplings were really delicious. The cheese cake was super sweet, but the ube sauce and berries that came with it were fabulous! All in all, a wonderful meal.
