Don’t get me wrong by the ice cream is good here but the service is terrible. I was served by a teenage who could barely do her job, I order a single scoop for my son and she served and charged me for a double scoop. Also there was a large crack in the cone so I asked her if that would be fine and she insisted it would be okay so I gave it to my seven year old son just for the ice cream to completely fall off with some of the cone attached to it as we were walking out of the store (In sight of the employ). I walked back in and asked if she could rescoop the cone because it was clearly a defect in the product ( the large crack that I ask the scooper about) and she replied by saying “you didn’t spill the ice cream in the store so I can’t help you out”. This is just so frustrating because the ice cream was literally spilled two feet out of the door on the steps (on the store property) because of a defect in there cones.
Do not go to doodlebugs if you want to be treated kindly or just want to have a normal cone of ice cream.

They don't accept cards in the 21st century. I haven't had cash since my mom paid me for mowing the lawn when I was a teenager. I know credit card fees are a thing but for petes sake just charge an extra 50 cents if you use a card its not rocket science, unless they're trying to launder money or skip taxes or something.
Also they don't give out samples of the ice cream so good luck knowing if its going to be any good before you spend 8 dollars a scoop!
This place sells ice cream but won't give samples, even to kids. They're also cash only.Know before you go. I won't be coming back here.
Kid-friendliness: Won't give Ice Cream samples to kids.

Old school place but really good prices and quality. Coffee isn't bad either.
Excellent ice cream!
No sugar free; Anything…
Great nachos and ice cream
Great place! They only take cash, no credit cards, and there is an ATM on site for a charge
They only accept cash and they “conveniently” provide an atm so they can make a few extra bucks off of you. Its super shady to corner customers like that. We left and found a different ice cream shop. The atm is also where the line is so no privacy.

Excellent black cherry scoop in a sugar coneCool neat little store with neat toys, trinkets & gadgets.
The young person at the counter seemed nice enough but the taffy here is horrendous. It was simultaneously flavorless and cloyingly sweet. And this is true for pretty much all of the flavors- I got a mixed bag. The one that was the most “flavorful” tasted like a candle (“snozzberry”). For $10 a bag I’d rather spend that money on gas or groceries.
This is a fun place to grab an ice cream cone, cup of coffee or beach toys when on the Oregon Coast.

There was only one young girl working on a busy Saturday afternoon, which I understand with everywhere being short-staffed, but she was really nice and did a great job. The ice cream selection is good, lots of choices but my Italian soda was just Sierra Mist and syrup. I asked about it and she said that's just how they make them. I was also curious and honestly a little skeptical about the white chocolate dog treats they had for sale. There is a cute little gift shop inside, and I agree with what another review said- they are cash only and have an ATM on site that charges $2.
