Georgie's Beachside Grill

Our favorite place on the coast is Newport and we like to stay at the Hallmark. Georgie's right next door and is always one of our favorites as well.

Great ocean view and very good service.

It was busy but we made a reservation and had nice window seats. Get there before dark if you want to watch the ocean while eating, otherwise you cannot see out the windows.

Food was good, clam chowder is amazing and so is the chili from my past experiences. Had the Georgie's burger this time and it was very good.

We love Georgie’s! This is probably my favorite clam chowder on the coast. Their entree prices are higher but you get a great value for the price. We always split an entree, soup and salad and it is plenty!
We had the Diablo seafood pasta. Tons of meat and a very delicious sauce! I utilized the dried pepper to kick the heat up a bit.

Their Caesar Salad is delicious and is served with a lemon which is always appreciated.

They were super busy on a Friday but got us in quickly, served us quickly and provided great service.

This restaurant came highly recommended and it did not disappoint! We both ordered the spicy seafood fettuccine and it was fabulous. There was so much really tasty seafood in it! The spice level was perfect. It was fairly mild and made it so, so good!

We went to Georgie's to celebrate our 30th anniversary, we made a reservation and mentioned that in it. We were sat quickly and the menu was wonderful to explore and decide. The challenge came from the server being overwhelmed at 7pm on a Wednesday night. We ordered our drinks and our food. The first miss was the drink we order wasn't what we ordered and they tried to charge us for it, the second miss was how our courses were brought out. At this scale of restaurant I would expect one course is brought, cleared and then next course brought. Not so, I had just barely finished my salad and she came to deliver dinner telling me she couldn't clear my salad plate. Maybe she just had too much going on. So food 5 stars, service 3 stars.

Great ocean front dining spot in Newport. Food was delicious except, halibit was overcooked, and only had 2 choices for veggies; asparagus or broccoli. Filet minion was perfectly cooked. Otherwise, nice dinner spot.

Enjoyed Eggs Benedict and tea - the staff nicely split our entree over two plates (older people such as ourselves don't need an entree for each of us, and this is a nice option for seniors).

Wild Salmon tasted like a frozen farm raised filet.
Bay shrimp on a Caesar salad was mushy.
