Nothing has changed except the name of the restaurant in the past 5 years or so since we ate here last. They lost their Izzy's franchise because they would not keep up the quality and standards of other Izzy's restaurants. They changed their name to the Hill Top but are still serving the same over priced, over cooked, mediocre food that I would not feed to the homeless. This restaurant is still just awful! The food all looks and tastes like it was made hours or days ago and has been sitting under the heat lamps drying out ever since! The ONLY thing good to eat was the green salad, literally everything else is not worth eating. We were there for dinner, maybe they have hot, fresh food at lunch time, but there was noting hot or fresh about our meals. NEVER AGAIN!

Its not called Izzys anymore. Its the Hill Buffet & Grill. Otherwise everything seems the same. Same food options and same amazing view. Good experience today. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Served cafeteria style. Good food. Very pleased.

I can not say enough good about this place. I was a little nervous about the buffet style dining with covid . So the waitresses dish up your plate for you. All you have to do is point to what you would like!! It was great. We were a party of 4. Had 2 gals that were taking care of us. . .wish I had gotten their names. We never wanted for anything .not for one second. They were friendly ,polite,attentive without over doing it. We were all so happy with the food the service the place was spotless s far as clean goes .And o yea even the slot machines were being nice. Can't wait to go back again.

These guys are doing awesome work. We went today to support them because of the pandemic, but I wondered how good it would be with the buffet approach. It was fantastic. The food was great, fresh, maybe fresher than normal for Izzys. Steak was awesome, omelet was great, bacon and sausages, great. Salad was great too. I was super impressed. Good work.Don't let the pandemic stop you from going to Izzys. It's better than ever.
The service was great but as for the food it looked and tasted like it had been in the window for a long time, the pizza was definitely old and the crust was hard and the other food products were definitely not up to par either, I'd say mostly frozen items that had been reheated.

My husband and his sister ate at Izzys in Newport last Sunday; he normally loves Izzys chicken but he said it didn’t even taste like chicken and all the food was unappetizing and not hot. His sister agreed and said “disgusting” food. The only good thing was the ice cream; definitely not worth $30! Will not be back or recommend that place to anyone!
