My mom and I enjoyed our dinner! All dishes are clearly indicated if they are gluten free, vegetarian, keto, etc. It was super easy for my vegetarian mom and me (who is gluten free) to order without asking the server 50 questions.Whitney, the bartender/server, was cheery and went out of her way to find the quirky-but-amazing raspberry vinaigrette recipe for me.I had the hazelnut crusted halibut with asparagus. Both were perfectly cooked.Mom ordered the tofu-based coconut club which was equally delicious and well marinated.Enjoy your meal here. :-)

This is a dog friendly restaurant if you sit on the deck. Great views of the Newport bridge and docks. The food is great from burgers, salmon, cod and salads. I have eaten here several times and always fun staff and large servings of Great food.

We had a birthday dinner this week at Jack Sprat's restaurant in Newport. Everything about the meal was fantastic, including the view overlooking the bay and marina. We both had salmon - I had the salmon, potatoes, and asparagus and my wife had the salmon salad. All of the food was very fresh, perfectly prepared, and unusually delicious. The appetizer recommended by other reviewers (Sprat rolls) were amazing and I used the rest of the sweet chili dressing on the salmon. Wine was great and the raspberry bar dessert was dairy-free and wonderful (so much so we had an extra one). The waiter Jason was excellent - knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive but not hovering. His suggestions and recommendations hit it out of the park. I have a new favorite restaurant in Newport and recommend it to everyone, especially if you have dietary restrictions which they work very hard to accomodate.

My husband and I ate an early dinner. I had salmon and he had a curry, rice and vegetable meal. They were both great and the servings were good sized. The service was excellent. There were real flowers on the table.

Great vegan and gluten free options, a few varieties but the quality was great! Got the Thai coconut curry with tofu and the coconut club with gluten free bread instead of the pita and we loved both! Will definitely be going back when we're in the area again to try some of their other options. They do take out by phone too!

This is a bistro or pub style restaurant with hearty food, generous servings, and good service. We all ended-up taking something home with us because we couldn't eat it all. We ordered appetizers to start, including Mozzarella Sticks and Coconut Lime Shrimp, both gluten free and both delicious! I ordered the Mac and Cheese (not gluten free) and everyone else ordered the Cod Fish and Chips, which were also gluten free. There was a ton of food and we couldn't finish it all. Great place to get gluten-free food.

Unbelievably fresh, delicious food. Everything we got was amazing. The fries were the best, the mac and cheese with chicken was amazing. Just go. Great people too.

Wow. Every element was perfect. Started with great service from Andrew. Welcoming and attentive service. Omelette was executed perfectly with no brown. Lovely fluffy biscuit. I think the jam was fresh made and delicious. Nice and crispy hash browns, as ordered. Wife’s waffle was great. Good flavor and texture. Nice sausage patty. Fair pricing.

Great gluten-free options. The mozzarella sticks were terrific! The view of the boats isn't too bad either.

My husband and I are always on the lookout for restaurants that have a decent amount of Gluten Free fare. They're hard to find, and when you do find one the Gluten Free menu is usually very limited. This is not the case at Jack Sprats. They have a wide variety of GF options that are spectacularly tasty. We were very impressed. My husband (who doesn't have to be GF) got the biscuits and gravy and absolutely loved them. On top of the great food we had a beautiful view and amazing service. Andrew waited on us and was extremely friendly and his customer service was outstanding. He was a genuinely caring and nice person and we enjoyed talking to him as part of the experience. Will definitely be back when we are back in town. Side note: There are no signs outside the building for the restaurant, you have to walk into the lobby of The Embarcadero and the entrance to Jack Sprats is up the staircase on the right.

Everything was delicious! Sprat rolls and coconut lime shrimp as appetizers, blood orange IPA, fish & chips and a BBQ burger for our meal, carrot cake & german chocolate cake for dessert. Amazing view, friendly, attentive service. We will definitely be back.

I wish I could give MORE stars! This is the best gluten free places I’ve ever been for fried foods! They have mozzarella sticks that are so crazy amazing….. gluten free fish and chips that are hand made from scratch. The potatoes are hand cut everyday and so yummy when fried! I can’t wait to have more of their food! Gluten free bacon Mac and cheese! So many options! The owner is very dedicated to the health of those with gluten free needs and will alert the kitchen if you are celiacs! They are clean and classy, and the view is amazing!Desiree was an amazing waitress and so incredibly helpful explaining their menu.Great service and great food!Try it y’all!
