Both were perfectly cooked.Mom ordered the tofu-based coconut club which was equally delicious and well marinated.Enjoy your meal here. :-)

Nice view of the marina from big picture windows. We were seated right away and staff was very nice. I ordered chicken strips and they tasted fresh in house made! Nice seasoned coating. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. The decor is somewhat dated but is still a decent place for dinner.

This is a dog friendly restaurant if you sit on the deck. Great views of the Newport bridge and docks. The food is great from burgers, salmon, cod and salads. I have eaten here several times and always fun staff and large servings of Great food.

Delicious Cod Sandwich with battered French fries which were unlike any I've ever had in a very good way. Plus the view of the marina with the bridge in the distance was great.

We had a birthday dinner this week at Jack Sprat's restaurant in Newport. Everything about the meal was fantastic, including the view overlooking the bay and marina. We both had salmon - I had the salmon, potatoes, and asparagus and my wife had the salmon salad. All of the food was very fresh, perfectly prepared, and unusually delicious. The appetizer recommended by other reviewers (Sprat rolls) were amazing and I used the rest of the sweet chili dressing on the salmon. Wine was great and the raspberry bar dessert was dairy-free and wonderful (so much so we had an extra one). The waiter Jason was excellent - knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive but not hovering. His suggestions and recommendations hit it out of the park. I have a new favorite restaurant in Newport and recommend it to everyone, especially if you have dietary restrictions which they work very hard to accomodate.

Wished I could give 5 stars. They really put out beautiful plates of food. The mushroom burger D ordered was mushy. My Salmon salad was perfect. Service was slow so he was done w his meal before my new dressing was delivered. I was charged a $1 for it. He got a fresh non-alcoholic "Holding Hands on the Beach" and I a lemonade. Both were delicious but they put his in a smallish cocktail glass. Literally 2 swallows and it was gone. $6 each is a lot for a non-alcoholic beverage and no refills. The view was stunning and we enjoyed watching a guy clean his salmon down in the Marina right below us. The place was a quiet, clean and non-rushed place for lunch.

Three stars because the waterfront location was great and our server was outstanding. My husband and I both ordered the fish and chips, his with regular fries and mine with sweet potato fries. Waaaay too much greasy breading on both the fish and the fries. We left disappointed and both of us suffered heartburn later that night. My husband says "worst fish and chips I've ever had." If we decide to visit again we will definitely stick to the healthier-looking options on the menu, putting aside our cravings for seafood while visiting the coast. Quinoa, anyone?

Great food! Great Service! Amazing view and ambiance. It is super kid friendly with an awesome section for kids to play, including free video games. We live here and bring guests to the area often.
I don't know why this restaurant gets some 1-star reviews. We thought it was fantastic. The Sprat Rolls were really delicious (and way healthier than all the fried seafood we've been eating this week). The salads were also great. The service was attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Newport.

I wasn't impressed, the salmon was dry and the asparagus covered in some weird mayo dressing. My hubby had a burger which was OK. Thumbs up to his side order of sweet potato fries.

Excellent place to eat on any and no occasion. Greatest views of the bridge, the bay and marina! The food is so delicious! We've had the coconut curry Thai with chicken. Two times! And the stuffed poblano with chicken is amazing! The atmosphere is so beautiful and nautical feeling- So Fun!!

My husband and I ate an early dinner. I had salmon and he had a curry, rice and vegetable meal. They were both great and the servings were good sized. The service was excellent. There were real flowers on the table.

Found Jacks on Google when looking for restaurant with a view, we were not disappointed! Great view of a marina and the harbor! We ordered burgers and they were great! Quality ingredients and nice presentation. They also had good selection of gluten free, vegan and keto diet options. Would definitely recommend for a great lunch place! The dinner items looked great as well!
