My partner and I LOVE it here. They've been going since childhood and introduced me in our late teens. It's nostalgic for us and we get the same two dishes every time. Prices are affordable, food is delicious, service is friendly and FAST. We come here every time we are in Newport and it never gets old.

Food was plentiful but lacking flavor.
Worst Chinese food ever!! I would stay away otherwise it will make you sick. I ordered ginger chicken and the chicken pieces were so huge made me sick. The vegetables rolls were so oily with the covering wrapper breaking apart. No smile or thank you. I ask the cashier if the vegetables rolls are small or large she tells me small just so I would order two and that’s what I did and was too much for us to eat. I threw away the $42 meal. The prices are also pretty steep. Not cheap food. Otherwise the only good thing was The food was wrapped well for to go. Not sure if this is a Portland Chinese thing or just this restaurant.

Shrimp and scallops with mixed vegetables, dynamite with delicious seafood, fresh veggies perfectly cooked, and a lovely Cantonese white sauce. Dry sauteed green beans with a slightly spicy sauce were also great! The food has wonderful wok hei.
Server was kind and helpful.

We've been to many many Chinese restaurants. This hole in the wall is a real find super tasty food, great eye candy and the service 2nd to none. We ordered an appetizer platter all freshly home made recipes. The BBQ Char Siu was one of the best I've ever had. Fried won ton skins yummy. When they brought our entrees out it reminded me of China town in Seattle,San Francisco or Vancouver BC. all have great Chinatown. Back to Lee's Wok. The entrees were very hot delicious and each had their own great flavor.. Kings Schezuan and sizzling house special were amazingly tasty. The orders were so large we had enough left overs for lunch the next day...

We stopped on a Sunday afternoon around 130. Almost left because no customers was there. Im glad we didn't. The service was good and the food was awesome. The portion to price ratio is very good. I took food home which may happen 5 percent of the time I eat out.

I have been there many times. Today one of the waitress (1st waitress) who knows me well wanted me to sit in the crowded area (north). I wanted to sit in the almost empty side (south) I asked another waitress, if I can sit in the South side, and she said sit anywhere you want and said south side is fine. I sat in the South side. The 1st waitress brought my food, did not bring any plate ot large spoon. She gave me only a small fork. I asked for the plate, she never brought. I ate half the food and took the balance to go. I had to go after the 1st waitress and get the large spoon to dish my food to the container
I really did not want to leave a tip, but still left $ 2.00 for a $ 20.00 bill. Then the female Manager who took the money did not give a copy of the bill. She acted as if she could not print one and kept saying she gave my copy of the receipt. It took about 10 minutes before she printed one.
All this harassment, just over the sitting place, in an almost empty restaurant. I will not go there again.
Do not get the chicken fried rice, it has such a weird flavor and honestly don’t think the chicken is actual chicken. Go to yummy bowl if you want GOOD fried rice. I keep giving this place a chance but time an time again I’m reminded why yummy bowl is better! As I was picking my food up I saw the waitress use her fingers to move food around on someone’s dish she was bringing out.
Hi I went in on Saturday the 21 and I ordered number 3 and I got egg flower soup the soup was very thick and gross it tasted old and the lady was rude she chased us down for a tip after being disrespectful and not allowing us to order what we wanted I got bad food poisoning from this place I don’t recommend coming here
