Staci and Jen have cultivated a lovely dining experience. We enjoyed a delicious meal that included fresh caught salmon, a tomato sauce made with tomatoes picked that day, grilled peaches and carrot cake to die for! Oh, and the beet salad served with homemade ricotta cheese. Every bite was a treat, and I’ll be dreaming of that carrot cake for a long time! The restaurant is beautiful with a view of the bay and live plants everywhere. Even though there was plenty of seating when we came, the hostess went out of her way to clean a window side table for us so we could enjoy the view. I cannot forget yo mention that I had the best lemon drop ever, and the most delicious coffee!! Bc

What a wonderful experience! We came in for drinks on a Friday afternoon and got to enjoy chatting with our lovely bartender and one of the wonderful owners! The food was delicious and perfectly portioned. The music and vibe was on point, as the kids say. My beer was frosty and served in an ice cold glass. Overall, 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to come back, and can’t wait to redecorate my home to look more like the lounge area! We can’t wait to come back!

We called multiple times to do a pickup order and we were sent to voicemail. So we walked over to order in person. We ordered three things the pasta, the seafood pasta, and a steak frites. The seafood pasta was forgotten in our order. The pasta had barely any noodles and it was missing some of the vegetables detailed in the menu. The steak and frites came with about three tiny pieces of steak and the rest was fries. The service is as terrible as their food. I would not waste your time or money here.

The waitress was very friendly but the food was small portions and not delicious. The music that was being played, crooners from the 50's, was obnoxious and too loud. The place needs to update to bring in a younger crowd and an older, hip crowd. It is a sleepy restaurant catering to those who live close-by in the condos.

This ranks as possibly the worst dining experience of all time, and this comes from someone who dines out 3-4 times per week. The scallops were microscopic in size and had to be sent back. The shrimp and grits were a mashup of quasi seafood combined with wallpaper paste. None of our dishes looked anything like those pictured in the menu. If you choose to dine here, proceed with all caution, unless you like throwing money down the drain.

This place was sooo good. Every level. Food. Service. Ambiance. View. Been here many times over the past 20yrs. This new owner manager is hitting on all cylinders. We traveled in from Wisconsin and we are foodies. Myril beat our expectations. Brandon was excellent bartender manager. Stacey the owner stopped by. We told her we were happy with everything. If your in Newport like wine n good food,,, I would recommend this place.

I live here in Newport and rarely dine out as the food around here is so underwhelming....until today. I am a retired Chef who still cooks at home every night. My husband suggested that we go out and try Myril's, which I had been wanting to go to since they opened, and I can't say enough about how good our food was, not to mention the view! Hat tip to Brandon our server and to the Chef, my Pasta was cooked perfectly! This is definitely a restaurant worthy of 5 Stars and where we will be dining often. We went to Myril for my partner's birthday. Everyone was wonderful! Love the small plate style - we had a very accessible culinary adventure. We tried the shrimp and cheddar grits, the dungeoness hush puppies, and the London broil bruschetta. DELICIOUS. My partner LOVED the carrot cake. I wanted everything on the menu! It's very cozy, with a sweet view of the marina and the bridge. The only bummer about the evening was finding out there was a four plate special as we were leaving - it would have added a lot of value to a lovely evening.
