One of my favorite places in Newport! Friendly, fast service and delicious food. I’ve had a few dinners, and I really enjoyed breakfast on Sunday. Great view too!

Excellent! Love the small plate approach. We (party of three) ordered six dishes to share: mushrooms, scallops, carrots, cauliflower, chicken and steaks frites. All were exceptional, creatively garnished and capable of standing on their own merit. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable to facilitate a fantastic dining experience.

Don’t be fooled by the high rating of this restaurant that ATTEMPTS to be an upscale wine and tapas bar. The food is overpriced, poorly seasoned, and once your food is delivered, you will be ignored. It’s advantageous there are few signs to guide you to Myrils. Do yourself a favor and keep on driving because you’ll be disappointed with this place.

Excellent dining experience in the restaurant but also amazing catering for our family reunion. Great dinner options, wonderfully prepared and plated as well as accommodation for food allergies, vegetarian, keto friendly. Private room with expansive deck to mingle over cocktails and appetizers before sit down meal. Exceptional servers kept the pace comfortably moving.

Myril catered our family reunion for 38 this summer 2024. A wonderful experience for us all! Jen Gilroy is both a great chef and flexible organizer. She accommodated special diets, came up with creative and tasty meals, and has a fun and very competent serving staff that met our many needs. Big thumbs up!
Vegetarian options: 4 of us had tasty and varied dinners to accommodate ovo-lacto vegetarians.
Dietary restrictions: Our family reunion had a variety of dietary needs - vegetarian, keto, GF and nut, shellfish and egg allergies. We were accommodated in all ways.

The food is exquisite in taste and presentation with a curated wine list, the decor is contemporary and artistic, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. We love that they encourage sharing dishes so that you can try multiple options. We enjoy visiting for dinner or just for a nightcap, coffee, dessert or cheese plate. Plus, you are treated to a lovely view of Yaquina Bay. It's located just beyond the hustle and bustle of the Bayfront at the Embarcadero Resort.
