Time to update my previous review.Y E S! = From the food, to the service, to the exceptional beer - these folks have it going on!You can either choose to dine in a 21 and over environment - or - family friendly dining. Both options are comfortable and welcoming. There are tables right in front of windows, which feature views of the marina.Tonight, Shelby was our server, she was the epitome of courteousness, knowledge, and efficiency. We ordered a beer flight, (you’ll have to look at the pictures to see what we ordered). Out of four beers, we seriously couldn’t choose a favorite = They were all that good! I ordered the cranberry / hazelnut salad, (sans the cranberries) = (I know). the salad was huge! Nick - a.k.a. - Mr. Wonderful had the (Halibut) fish and chips, and a house salad. We left nothing on our plates, and were very satisfied. As mentioned in my previous review; don’t miss the gift shop downstairs! Even though we wanted the Experimental 297, (thanks Shelby!) we purchased the “Mom Beer;” a light, hazy, fruity IPA, yes, *IPA (this coming from a *non IPA lady, says a lot = broadening my horizons). Piper, in the gift shop was absolutely delightful.

I tried the Rogue Honey Kolsch, and it did not disappoint! Clean, slight honey taste and refreshing. The staff is very friendly and provided great customer service.Walkability: This is just down the road from all the main shopping at the Bayfront in Newport!Food & drinks: I love they have a cooler full of 4-pack and 6-packs of beer and vodka spirits! The Peach Berry Vodka Spirit is delicious; we bought a 4-pack! I also bought a 6-pack of the Honey Kolsch.

We have been to both Rogue’s and found them both to typically be great. We know sometimes the brewery waitlist can be long and when it is we go across the bridge to eat here.Last week we were in town for spring break and Rogue was on our list of somewhere we wanted to eat while there. When we walked in there was nobody currently waiting and the hostess told us it would be approximately a 10-15 minute wait for our party of five. There were two tables open that could accommodate us but whatever we will wait. While waiting another party of seven walked in and got on the wait list. While both of our groups were waiting another party of seven walked in and sounded like they may have had reservations at the other location but the hostess said they could get them seated. She took that group back almost immediately. Whatever it’s was a confusion of reservations so we let it slide. After a while the hostess talked to my wife and asked who was there first between the two groups. The lady of the group that came in behind up told the hostess that they were there after us. The hostess walked over to her stand asked how many kids menus for the other group and said follow me. The guy of the other group was embarrassed and apologized that she skipped us. YET AGAIN!We decided that after watching two groups of seven coming in after us and getting seated before our group of five we would just leave. The hostess tried to stop us and said she could also get us seated…no thanks we will take our business somewhere else. After waiting for almost forty minutes and getting such horrible service I’m not sure I will be returning to Rogue unfortunately. Not sure if the hostess understands how a wait list works but in my experience first come, first serve is the typical procedure. She was working in reverse.

I could not write this review quick enough. This place is 10/10. The food was very fresh and prepared relatively quick! Full of flavor and large portions. They also had a large selection of beer and cider on tap. Service was great and staff was friendly and tentative. Absolutely recommend.

Friendly service, great fish and chips (my husband is British and knows his fish and chips!), and outstanding beer - what more can you ask for?! Oh yeah, cool t-shirts and chill reggae music too!

My Aunt, my wife and I just went in there. We were seated, and given menus. We where not checked on at all, and after 20 minutes a lady who had just been seated was asked what beverage she would like and if she was ready to order food…so we got up and left and don’t plan going back.
